Zynga Brings CityVille to China

Zynga, one of the leading companies in the field of social gaming, has officially brought its popular game CityVille to China with the introduction of “Zynga City” in the country.
However, Zynga will not be partnering with the world’s biggest social networking site, Facebook, for the introduction of Zynga City.
The company revealed on Monday that it will instead be working with Chinese gaming giant Tencent for the release of Zynga City in the country.
In a report from The Associated Press, CityVille is said to currently be the most popular game on Facebook being played by 80 million people every month based on data from analytics firm AppData.
However, Facebook is banned in China hence the need for Zynga to release Zynga City in partnership with a company local to China.
A report from PC Magazine says that the new Zynga City was developed by the company’s Zynga China studio and will feature landmarks and other Chinese artifacts.
