Jon Favreau writes, directs and stars in “Chef.” The first trailer shows Favreau starting a food truck business after his restaurant job makes him miserable. The film looks more like a “Swingers”-sized indie comedy than an action blockbuster like “Iron Man,” but the cast still includes big names like Robert Downey Jr. and Scarlett Johansson. “Chef,” which also stars Sofia Vergara, John Leguizamo and Dustin Hoffman, opens May 9.
“The Expendables 3″ star Jason Statham makes a cameo in Calvin Harris’ new music video for “Summer.” The actor and Scottish DJ appear in a drag racing scene in the desert, interspersed with footage of Harris posing like a rock star and women in barely-there outfits. According to the Daily Mail, Statham and Harris have become friends in the past year, spotted partying together in Las Vegas and London. “Summer,” to be released April 27, is a single from Harris’ upcoming album.
