Workers ‘watered plants in lingerie’ outside illegal massage parlor in South …

Corpus Christi police and the Department of Homeland Security shut down five suspected illegal massage parlors last week.

Arrests and code violations for the businesses included prostitution and operating a massage parlor without a license, with the arrests following numerous complaints by nearby citizens, according to Kiii-TV.

“There was definitely illegal things going on in there,” Melissa Rodriguez, who runs 4D Baby Ultrasounds next door to one of the massage parlors, told the TV station.

“The only meeting we ever got was them outside watering plants dressed in lingerie, basically where you could see everything,” Rodriguez told kiiitv in Corpus Christi.

The following people were arrested in connection to these busts:

Rose Spa – 3517 S. Staples

Fen Hua Shen Baza, 42, was charged with prostitution and a violation of the Occupations Code in practicing massage therapy without a license and operating a massage establishment without a license.

Caihong Tan, 56, was charged with a violation of the Occupations Code in operating a massage establishment without a license.

China Spa – 5315 Everhart Road

Dong Hong Wang, 39, was arrested for a violation of the Occupations Code for massage without a license involving sexual contact.

Xiuqin Liu, 50, was arrested for a violation of the Occupations code for operating a massage establishment without a license.

Herbal Massage – 5702 S. Staples St.

Yanjie Zhang, 46, was arrested under the Occupations Code for Practice by a Massage Therapist

Two adult females detained – massage therapy (operator) not a licensed establishment

Massage 5888 Everhart Unit B

One adult female detained - massage therapy (operator) not a licensed establishment
