Vibrators: they’re all fun and games until someone acidentally stabs themselves and nearly bleeds out. A woman is suing a sex toy company after a dildo she was using caused a sharp vaginal pain, followed by massive bleeding.

April Bonjour (no joke) of California was rushed to the hospital after the sex toy she and her boyfriend were using apparently caused a gash INSIDE her, resulting in a large amount of blood loss.
“I started to get faint from the loss of blood,” Bonjour wrote in a personal injury complaint filed Aug. 30 in California Superior Court.
“My boyfriend called 911. By the time they got there, I was in and out of consciousness.”
Bonjour says she and her son (whom I assume was not present for the Killer Dildo incident) “thought I was dying … Once we got to the hospital, I had lost so much blood I was given several pints.”

She is suing Pipedream Products Inc. for damages of $25,000, and presumably for the awkward conversation she had with her son about how she got vigorous enough with a sex toy so as to injure herself.
So what could kinky April possibly be doing with her vibrator that would cause bleeding? Nothing out of the ordinary. According to her statement, the toy “was being used in the manner intended by the defendant.”
