Maybe you’re trying to impress a special new someone.

Maybe you’d like to spice up your current love life.

Maybe you just want to feel good about yourself while sitting at home watching Netflix with your cat.

According to the National Retail Federation, the average person celebrating Valentine’s Day this year will spend $142.31 on pleasantries like flowers, candy, apparel and more — the number is up from $133.91 last year.

While chocolates, cards, and flowers can be found around just about any corner this time of month, lacy underthings aren’t quite as easy to come by. Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered. Here are five places to shop for Valentine’s Day lingerie.

Barbara’s New Beginnings

Shopping for a hard-to-find size? Barbara’s New Beginnings offers bras in sizes from AAA-N cup as well as shapewear, lingerie, corsets, post-mastectomy bras and swimwear up to size 30 year-round.

8635 River Crossing Blvd., (317) 844-1600, barbarasnewbeginnings.com.

Pillowtalk Boutique

Having recently opened a second location in Broad Ripple (the original is in Carmel) Pillowtalk Boutique offers candles, jewelry, accessories and more in addition to lingerie. Stop by 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Feb. 13 for complimentary spa services like polish changes and brow waxing.

Macy’s

Offering lines like DKNY Intimates, B.Tempt’d and Linea Donatella, the intimates selection at Macy’s ranges from sexy lingerie to shapewear and pajamas.

Rue Violet

While you can’t regularly shop local lingerie line Rue Violet in stores, you can stop by a trunk show at the Pattern store on Feb. 13 for last-minute Valentine’s Day purchases. Rue Violet is also taking pre-orders now through Feb. 12 for pick-up at the store. The line’s best-seller is a garter belt available in several prints and colors.
