Victoria’s Secret limits its line to lingerie, bathing suits

I’m not sure who you are, but fans of Victoria’s Secret fashion are absorbing the sad news that the company will no longer make actual clothing. Women’s Wear Daily is reporting that effective immediately, the purveyor of lacy little things that look best in dim light is discontinuing its collection of pants, blazers, dresses, etc. to concentrate on its lingerie.

“We know we’re most successful when we remain focused on our core,” CEO Sharen Jester Turney told WWD. She said offerings in the company’s Pink line — lingerie and loungewear marketed to a young demographic and modeled along the lines of Juicy Couture — will remain unchanged.
