UPDATE: Four dead in Barren County Plane Crash

BARREN COUNTY, Ky. (WBKO) – UPDATE: 9:30 p.m.
Officials have identified the four deceased passengers of the airline. Dr. Kyle Stewart, Doug Whitaker, Scott Foster, and his fifteen-year-old son were the four identified bodies.
Stewart was a dentist in Pulaski County, Whitaker, a chaplain for the Somerset Police Department, and Foster, an attorney at law.
Friends say the four were returning from a hunting trip in Tennessee.

UPDATE: 5:00 p.m.
Police have confirmed that four people have died as result of the crash. Three were pronounced dead at the scene. One was pronounced dead at the Medical Center in Bowling Green.

UPDATE: 4:30 p.m.
Kentucky State Police say they will cease investigation as daylight becomes scarce. They are awaiting the arrival of the FAA.
Public Information Officer Jeremy Hodges described the wreckage as “mangled”. He also said there is a field of debris up to 200 feet wide.
Hodges described the state of the plane, saying it looks to have hit some tree tops before being halted by one of the trees.
He says they’ve set up about a 500-foot perimeter around the scene. The Barren County Coroner is on scene.

A plane has crashed near the Fountain Run area of Barren County.
Kentucky State Police are investigating the crash but aren’t releasing many details at this time.
Police say the crash happened somewhere off of Bewleytown Road and Capitol Hill Church Road. Witnesses say ambulances and firetrucks are on scene.
No information has been released on victim name(s) or cause of crash.
