Nearly 50 models graced the catwalk at the annual Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show that aired on Tuesday night. But it wasn’t the Angels who stole the spotlight.
All eyes were on Selena Gomez as she performed her hit songs “Hands to Myself” and “Me and My Girls” while the women hit the runway.
Vocativ analyzed over 468,000 tweets about the 2015 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show to discover which stylish beauties generated the most Twitter buzz. Gomez’s performance—which included a playful spank slapping model Gigi Hadid—made waves. She received more than twice the amount of Twitter mentions compared to any Victoria’s Secret Angel.
Kendall Jenner’s Victoria Secret debut was another hot moment of the night. Gigi Hadid, Candice Swanepoel and longtime Angel Adriana Lima were also crowd favorites.
