So tonight is the climax of four months of training, tears, tantrums and torn tendons in the Strictly grand final.

Who’ll win is anyone’s guess! Harry’s certainly doing his bit to sway voting after stripping for the cover of gay mag Attitude. No doubt he’s got himself a whole new fanbase as a result.

I can’t wait to find out how our final three will fare with four routines each. Talk about fit (and I don’t mean Harry in his pants!)

And in the Tower Ballroom tonight, I’ll be wearing two dresses – a full-length Rachel Gilbert sequin and chiffon fishtail number and a stunning one-off gown created for me by Suzanne Neville.

I worked closely with Suzanne on the design, which is a black lace and nude number with a short skirt and dramatic floor-length train. It also has a Swarovski crystal belt, which took three days to create.

The end result is beyond my wildest dreams and I can’t wait to wear it for the show(BBC1, 7pm).

And on the subject of men posing in pants (and a bra) – where do you stand on a man selling lingerie to women?

Andrej Pejic, the androgynous male supermodel, works largely as a transgender model, usually in women’s clothes. Now he’s fronting a new lingerie campaign for Hema looking like a lady (although there are definitely a couple of things missing).

He’s even received the Royal seal of approval after being invited by the Queen to Buckingham Palace. He wore his hair long and a skirt (of course).

But whether you want your knickers and bra flogged to you by a fella or not, it’ll guarantee lots of press for the canny people at Hema.

Another hot topic this week is Christmas shopping. Despite getting on top of it, I’m still waking up in the night texting myself gift idea reminders.

And I was congratulating myself on choosing well for the trickiest person I know to buy for – Vernon – until it all went wrong. I was chuffed when I came across a nippy little camera, but last Saturday I came home and found it sat on top of the kitchen table.

And who took delivery of it? Vernon! Thank goodness for firebox.com, my-wardrobe.com and asos, which all offer Christmas delivery if you order by December 22. Phew… and breathe!

Gold dust

Gold dust

A sprinkling of gold in your wardrobe is all you need to look festive and fabulous on Christmas Day. Metallics were one of the season’s hottest looks and theyve been a firm favourite on the red carpet.

Jessica Alba looked amazing in a gold embellished dress in Los Angeles recently and X Factor judge Tulisa celebrated her Little Mix victory this week in a figure-hugging, gold one-shoulder dress.

Not only is gold a great seasonal choice, its flattering for all skin tones and is bang on trend.
