Home According to one recent study, a large percentage of external referral traffic to companies’ Facebook Pages comes from search, highlighting the need for firms to step up their search engine optimization efforts.
A report from analytics provider PageLever revealed that search was responsible for 34 percent of all external referral traffic to a brand’s Facebook page. With that in mind, those in charge of online marketing may want turn their focus to optimizing content for search engine optimization. Other recent studies have highlighted the growing importance of SEO. The May 2011 Pew Internet survey revealed that 93 percent of respondents said they used search engines to find information while surfing the internet.
