Salina police post theft videos
Salina police are seeking the public’s help in identifying people involved in recent thefts at three Salina businesses.
Surveillance videos of the three incidents may be viewed at salina.com or on the Saline County Crimestoppers Facebook page.
One incident occurred July 27 at a Dollar General store. The video shows a man police allege purchased merchandise using a roll of pennies wrapped as a roll of dimes.
Another video shows a man and woman accused of stealing a wallet at Walmart, 2900 S. Ninth, and attempting to use credit cards from the wallet at other businesses. The suspects are shown leaving the parking lot in a white extended-cab pickup with items in the bed.
The third video shows a man who entered the 24/7 store, 671 Westport, on July 24 and removing money from behind the counter.
Police ask that anyone with information about who committed these crimes call Crimestoppers at 825-TIPS, text SATIPS to CRIMES (274637), or visit pd.salina.org and follow the Crimestoppers link to submit a Web tip. Tipsters may receive a cash reward of up to $1,000 and are not required to give their name.
