More than 500 porn-star princesses are getting their low-cut, see-through gowns and lingerie ready for this week’s 2016 AVN / Adult Entertainment Expo and awards at the Hard Rock Hotel.

Adult-film stars Joanna Angel and Annika Albrite will host with comedienne Kate Quigley at Saturday’s “Oscars of Porn” in the Joint. Joanna is nominated for Mainstream Star of the Year, and Anikka faces our favorite Jessica Drake for Best Supporting Actress.

Preliminary celebrations for the year’s finest achievements in adult entertainment began Friday in Los Angeles with the XBiz Awards.

Expect headlines whether or not ostracized actor James Deen of “The Stockholm Syndrome” shows up for his Director of the Year nomination. Some X-rated studios have dropped him because of his reportedly overly aggressive off-camera sexual moves on actresses.

Nine adult performers, including his former gal pal Las Vegas-based Joanna, made accusations of his abuse and assault. Reality-TV star Farrah Abraham is expected to attend industry parties, which we’ll list this week in our full AVN preview.

Vivid stars Nicki Hunter, Tanya Tate, Ana Foxx, Kaylani Lei, Ash Hollywood, Aiden Starr and Monique Alexander will host 11 hours of live coverage for Vivid Radio.

Female Performer of the Year nominee Vicky Chase, contract star Allie Haze and incoming Hall of Fame director and actress Kimberly Kane are scheduled as on-air guests.

Adult Empire will be covering the events with adult star Missy Martinez as onsite correspondent for the exhibits and porn-star sightings, and porn actress Kayla Jane Danger will be backstage and on the red carpet for the AVN Awards.

Adult Empire will take over Body English at the Hard Rock Hotel on Thursday for its party to celebrate 17 years in the business with more than 30,0000 streaming, full-length movies and 170,000 streaming scenes.

In addition to dancers from “X Burlesque” at the Flamingo and the new “X Country” at Harrah’s entertaining each night, the Stockroom plans a daily 6 p.m. Kinky Kabaret of outrageously sexy visual spectacles for conventioneers with Skin Diamond, Vicky Chase, Hudsy Hawn and Sir Rucifer singing, dancing and even flogging on the Muse Hall main stage at the Hard Rock.

Plus, Joanna’s fashion show modeling her sex toys of collars, chokers, restraints, leashes and more.

Hard Rock Hotel Casino

Arguably one the coolest joints in town, the Hard Rock Hotel Casino houses some of Vegas’ best entertainment, restaurants and nightlife.

At Hard Rock, it’s all about the music. From the light fixtures made out of drum cymbals and guitar shaped door handles to stage costumes and tools of the trade of legendary musicians displayed on the walls, the hotel screams rock and roll. The Hard Rock’s Joint has hosted some the biggest names in music — from The Who to Bob Dylan to hometown heroes, The Killers.

Aside from the music venues, the pool at the Hard Rock is one of its biggest attractions. Spread out over 4.7 acres, the pool area features swim-up blackjack, a bar and grill, private cabanas, a bevy of secluded nooks, a waterfall and an extensive live music venue with a dance floor. During the summer, the pool transforms into the Rehab club on Sunday afternoons.

The resident nightclub Body English fuses European elegance with a rock star bachelor pad and it often a hot spot for visiting celebs and popular DJs. Vintage rock memorabilia lines the walls at Wasted Space, Hard Rock’s anti-club.

Restaurants at Hard Rock are just as hip as the rest of the casino. Pink Taco serves up Mexican dishes, as well as a Central American and Caribbean menu. Nobu, one of five worldwide Japanese-specialty restaurants from famed Nobu Matsuhisa, satisfies a different taste. For round-the-clock cuisine, Mr. Lucky’s 24/7, is sure to ease your appetite even after a Vegas-all-nighter.

702-693-5000 The Joint The Joint, which holds 4,000 people, features seven luxury suites, a VIP studio level, a state-of-the-art sound system and a superior video system.

The Joint has been the venue for concerts by Paul McCartney, Prince, The Killers, Bon Jovi, Kenny Chesney, Arcade Fire, Avenged Sevenfold, Guns N’ Roses, Rise Against, Paramore, Muse, Drake and No Doubt. The venue hosted Vegas’s first rock n’ roll residency, “Supernatural Santana: A Trip through the Hits,” and in February 2012, Vegas’s first hard rock residency, “Mötley Crüe in Sin City.” In 2011, the venue welcomed “Tiësto In Concert,” a groundbreaking live show created exclusively for The Joint featuring the world’s No. 1 electronic DJ and producer Tiësto.
