Nudz Launches Lingerie Line for Women of All Skin Tones on Kickstarter – SYS

NEW YORK, NY — (Marketwired) — 07/13/15 — Nudz, Inc., a lingerie start-up that is on a mission to redefine nude and banish beige as the default nude standard in the intimates industry, unveiled today on Kickstarter its debut collection specifically designed to celebrate women of all skin tones. The company created The New Nudes™, an initial line of everyday bras and undies, to match virtually every woman’s shade of skin and to alleviate the frustration of choosing from the standard black, white or beige options. Nudz is seeking to raise $30,000 on Kickstarter during a campaign ending on Tuesday, August 18th. A portion of the rewards will be donated to five charities that support underprivileged teenage girls and women’s empowerment charities.

The New Nudes:
Each convertible-strapless bra is beautifully designed, non-molded, non-padded and available in ten unique shades for a comfortable and supportive fit on virtually every woman. Inspired by the beautiful hues of ten well-known celebrities: Scarlett, Sophia, Adriana, Eva, Zoe, Kerry, Gabrielle, Tika, Lupita and Alek; the collection incorporates shades ranging from ivory to caramel, cocoa to naturally sun-kissed and everything in between. The New Nudes are initially available in sizes 30B to 38F.

At the various reward levels, Kickstarter backers will receive their nude bra at a discount to retail along with a complimentary pair of matching undies in one of three styles: hipster, thong or low-rise bikini. Alternatively backers have the option to donate their rewards to one of five charities that support the empowerment of at-risk teen girls or the economic independence of battered and disadvantaged women.

Pricing and Availability:
Upon the successful completion of its fundraising campaign, Nudz intimates initially will be available direct-to-consumer via the Nudz website with bras priced at $68-$98 and undies priced at $16-$36.
