British model Abbey Clancy may have been the winner of Strictly Come Dancing, but the WAG is strictly in trouble with lingerie boss Michelle Mone.
The two have reportedly become embroiled in a cat fight dubbed ‘bra wars’ after the Liverpudlian posed in her underwear for brands Veet and Scholl.
As a result, she is no longer the face and body of Ultimo – the firm Michelle owns.

Bra wars: Abbey Clancey’s contract with Ultimo has ended because of a reported bust up with CEO Michelle MoneAccording to The Sun’s Dan Wootton, it has sparked bad blood between the women.
On Monday morning, Michelle tweeted: ‘Re:today’s reports, unfortunately we had exclusivity issue with Abbey’s mgmt, she’s a great girl. We look forward to releasing her last campaign.’
A
source said: ‘It has all kicked off between Michelle and Abbey and
we’re calling it bra wars. Abbey is only two-thirds of the way through
her contract, but it is clear the relationship between them has
completely broken down.
‘Michelle was unhappy about the picture of Abbey in her knickers for Veet. But Abbey is adamant she’s done nothing wrong.’
The offending picture: This shot of Abbey posing for Veet Scholl sparked the row
Representatives for both women said: ‘Each party have decided to to terminate the contract due to creative differences.’
Abbey first became an ambassador for the brand in December 2013, when she replaced Michael Buble’s wife Luisana Lopilato.
Awkwardly, the latest campaign was only released a few weeks ago.
Unhappy: Michelle confirmed Abbey’s contract with Ultimo had ended prematurely on Monday
Bust-up: Michelle Mone out and about in London prior to the fight with Abbey
It is a considerable change of tune
for Mone, founder of Ultimo, who recently praised Abbey for her
work on the latest campaign.
‘Abbey looks gorgeous in the new Ultimo designs, which are
perfect for injection some colour into your lingerie drawer this summer,’ she said.
She
is the latest in a long line of glamorous women to have appeared in
Ultimo campaigns, with predecessors including Mel B,
Penny Lancaster, Sarah Harding and Rachel Hunter.
Michelle previously dropped Kelly Brook as the face of Ultimo in 2010, just six months into a two year contract when the model revealed plans to strip for Playboy.
At the time, the Scots businesswoman tweeted: ‘Ultimo are looking for new FaceBody to take over from Kelly Brook.
‘Her two-year contract lasted six months. We wish her all the best with Playboy.’

Abbey is so dim. Clearly her contract would have stated not posing in underwear for other companies while tied to Ultimo. Her management must be pretty bad too for not advising her!

I hate it when celebrities do this – a company pays you easy money to endorse their product – the easiest kind of money anyone with good looks can make, then you disrespect it by wearing a competitor’s brand for a photoshoot. She is a model – she should know better. Alicia Keys did the same thing, signed by Blackberry for millions of dollars, was caught using an i-phone. Of Course, BB dropped her. Nothing wrong with using a competitor’s product – just don’t be caught with it outside your home when you are being paid top dollars. I also believe Kim K. did the same thing with Carl Jnrs and In and Out Burger. She was dropped too – silently.

Don’t see Michelle Mone being much of a woman’s woman in the first place. All she is interested in is making money. Abbey probably had more creative idea’s but it’s Michelle’s way or the high way.

Maybe Michelle should use her business savvy and have the contracts day that if her reps do photo shoots in their underwear then they MUST use Ultimo. If it’s for Playboy or similar them at least 3 of the photos must include an item from the Ultimo range. Sacking all these great models only gives Michelle a bad rep and negative publicity. Use your head Michelle. Simples!

Good for you Michelle, a no nonsense business woman. Clancy thinks she walks on water after winning some tin pot TV show, her days are numbered, hopefully.

Veet is a hair removal product I believe. Cor, she’s only got a pair of plain, drab knickers on so would have thought it would be good for ultimo.
