After the booming success of the previous six seasons of Splitsvilla, the launch of seventh season was held in New Delhi with huge pomp and grandeur. This time, it seems that Spiltsvilla is going to break their records of hotness with MTV VJ Nikhil Chinapa and the voluptuous Sunny Leone going to host the show.
Splitsvilla which weaves stories of perfect couples and break-ups in the reality shows, will this time have a twist to it. Twenty hot sultry girls will be seen drawing attention of seven stunning male celebrities who include Ayaz Ahmed, Abhishek Malik, Ashwini Kaul, Mayank Gandhi, Mayank Pawar, Rishabh Sinha and Shravan Reddy. Some of the gorgeous ladies will also include former Ms. Goa and lingerie model Scarlet Rose. The show will be hosted at the romantic Samode Palace in the vicinity of Jaipur.
Talking about the new avatar of the show, Business Head of MTV, Aditya Swamy said, “MTV Splitsvilla has entertained around 50 mm young Indians across six seasons. While the highly controversial show has become an obsession with young people, we have built strong levers of engagement through our digital platforms which keeps the franchise alive 365 days. With a brand new format disrupter this year, we are looking forward to taking this twisted game of love to an altogether new level.”
All excited about the show to start, VJ Nikhil Chinapa said that the new season is going to be better than ever. He said, “The show is known for its edgy content and interesting twists. We’ve got all that and much more this season, with several tweaks being incorporated to make the show even more unpredictable. With seven popular faces being wooed by 20 girls, this season is turning out to be an epic quest for true love.”
The show goes on air on 14th June 2014 and will be telecast every Saturday at 7 PM only on MTV.
