And in the Aussie department store’s latest look book for Spring/Summer 2012 collection, she certainly shows why she’s worthy of the contract.

Colourful: Miranda strikes a pose in a multi-coloured Isola corset
Although known in the U.S. for modelling
Victoria’s Secret, back in her native Australia Miranda is still known
as the face of David Jones.
The release of the new images comes amidst rumours Miranda may not continue her contract with David Jones.
Her AUS$1million (£673,000 / US$£1.05million) a year contract – thought to be the most lucrative modelling deal in Australia – is due to expire in 2014.

Too cool for school: Miranda appears to be wearing little else than a pair of Chanel sunglasses in this shot
Following her recent change of
modelling agencies from Sydney-based Chic Management in favour of giant
firm IMG Models, fashion insiders believe the model may become too
expensive for the Aussie department store chain.
Miranda
signed to David Jones in 2007 – the same year she landed her Victoria’s
Secret lingerie contract and started dating now-husband Orlando Bloom.
Meanwhile, Miranda recently denied rumours her two year marriage to Orlando was on the rocks.

lol what does “receovomg” mean? I guess it’s supposed to be “receiving” but that’s quite a bad mistake worthy of the Grauniad. Surprised it didn’t get noticed.

Her face is like a squashed tomato.

as someone who is in the fashion industry she is not high fashion.

The girl is lovely, but she’s just too skinny. She has no curves… notice how she always has her body swayed to the side, or contorted, in order to make herself look curvaceous. If she gained just a few pounds, she would be stunning without all of the exaggerated poses.
I don’t understand the fashion industry’s fascination with the ultra-thin. Wait… yes I do. It takes talent to design for curves, but any idiot can make a dress look acceptable on a skeletal frame. The fashion industry just has a lack of talent and imagination. Look at all of the lovely creations that the stars of the 1940′s wore. That took design AND tailoring skill.

Versatility? Versatility is being able to survive in a hostile environment for weeks on end, do your job, watch your mates back and get out alive. Not being able to pull on a different pair of knickers ten times a day for $5m a year.

Ugh – she’s on a poster in front of our local Victoria’s Secret. She’s got this giant, lolly pop, Macy’s Day Parade balloon shaped head, a young child’s face and a spindly body. She must have the best PR people in the world – her and Lilly Cole, They both look odd and creepy.

she is certainly beautiful but these pictures are very boring…..

Love how obviously photoshopped her cleavage is in the first picture.
