Mariah Carey Looks Stunning in Lingerie in "Infinity" Video Teaser

To date, “Infinity” has peaked at a lowly No. 82 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. But with a new Las Vegas residency, the lack of chart success probably doesn’t bother Mariah. It sure doesn’t phase L.A. Reid aka the label exec who resurrected her career with The Emancipation of Mimi and signed her to new label Epic. He recently spoke to Billboard about his expectations for the single:

“Mariah Carey made her first hit record in 1991. To even be on the radio at this point in her career is a huge accomplishment, because radio doesn’t cater to veteran artists or legends. Nobody that put out records 25 years ago is going to have a No.1 Not Paul, Stevie, Bruce, Mick or Keith. Not Prince, not anyone. So if she can get on the radio, we’ve done damn good. Would we like to have a No. 1? F*ck yeah, I’m greedy. But it’s not realistic.”

While we’re not going to say Reid has a bad attitude, there’s still a part of us that thinks Mariah’s got (at least) one more No. 1 in her. Maybe it’s not “Infinity,” but the girl’s bound to have at least one more smash in her.
