Lingerie tycoon’s weight-loss pills join worst celebrity diets

A weight-loss plan sold by the newly ennobled Baroness Mone has been singled
out by nutritionists as one of the worst celebrity diets of the year.
Other potions and gimmicks that have upset the British Dietetic Association
(BDA) include a diet based on black coffee thickened with butter that is
followed by Harry Styles, the One Direction singer, and an £1,150-a-year
“super elixir” endorsed by Elle Macpherson, the model and businesswoman.
Lady Mone, the founder of the lingerie company Ultimo, also has a substantial
stake in TrimSecrets, a diet company that sells a food supplement that is
supposed to curb
