Lingerie Football League Wants To Launch Pee Wee Division

Are you still lamenting the stadium-less plight of the New York Majesty? Are you convinced that the Los Angeles Temptations are forming an unstoppable dynasty? Do you love women in underwear playing football? Then you are probably already a fan of the Lingerie Football League, the premiere American woman’s tackle football league—whose barely-there uniforms include panties, bras and pads. Three years since its inception, the LFL has announced its intentions to launch a youth football division to give girls with pigtails a chance to throw around pigskins.
They made the announcement on their website this week: “The LFL firmly believes that girls want to play football, too. Now, the league is taking measures to ensure many generations of young ladies have the opportunity.” The league claims it has been contacted over recent months by parents who want their daughters to be able to play football too. The league is just as excited about the prospect of developing athletes for the future: “Obviously, the improvement of our game is directly tied into the development of the future LFL athlete…Now imagine in five years when we start fielding athletes [who] have trained their entire [lives] for the opportunity to play LFL Football.”
The National Federation of High School Associations has reported that more girls being interested in tackle football. But as Forbes brings up, it’s hard to tell whether the LFL is “what backers of girls in sports have in mind, just like I’m not sure there would be much stomach for hotties in nurse costumes leading an effort to get more girls involved in the medical field.” But on the other hand, uh, your daughter could be well on her way to making lots of friends off the field:
