At first glance this may seem like the Lingerie Football League (sorry, they call themselves the Legends Football League now) attaching themselves to the Ray Rice story for publicity purposes. And maybe it is. Nothing says “serious social issue” like a statement by a chick with her boobs half out.
But either Los Angeles Temptation running back Carmen Bourseau is a very good actor, or she is pretty emotionally wrapped up in this statement. That helps to make it valid.
And besides, even if this is a publicity grab, don’t they have the right to address the issue? I’d rather hear the opinions of these women than those of Chris Berman or Skip Bayless any day.
