Jennifer Hawkins says wearing the right lingerie under your clothes can make a woman feel sexy all day long.

“I think it’s just about trying things on and seeing what you love and what you feel confident and comfortable in, and sort of rocking it,” she said at the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Festival in Sydney recently.

“What you feel cheeky in – I think that’s the biggest thing.

“It’s underneath your clothes, so it makes you feel sexy throughout the day.”

Hawkins said that when it comes to style, women should choose lingerie that makes them feel good.

The Australian model showed off her stunning figure for the Bendon Lingerie catwalk parade in the latest looks in the under-garment department, opening the show in a sexy, white corset.

She also took to the runway in a snake and vibrant pink Lovable bra and brief set.

For spring and summer, Hawkins said colours were hot.

“Beautiful lace and trims always change different seasons but definitely colour is the biggest trend for summer, which I’m loving,” Hawkins said.

Her number one lingerie tip for Australian women is to get a bra fitting.

“The right size is very, very important. That’s my biggest tip,” Hawkins said.

“Your body goes up and down so it’s nice to get fitted by a professional and then you know what size you are because you change.

“Your body changes month to month around different times and squeezing into the same size year in year out – you might be too big for it or too small, so it’s definitely important.”

The new Bendon Lingerie range showcased a wide variety of bras to suit most body shapes, from push-ups and wire-free, to the fun, feminine Evollove D to G collection.

Lacy Elle Macpherson Intimates were on display, along with tiny striped cotton trunks from Macpherson Men.

Wearing black lace blindfolds, the models also showed off the new Pleasure State pieces, which included a Cleopatre balconnet contour bra and “midi” brief in an earthy print, as well as a black Grecia baby doll dress for special evenings.

There was plenty of red lace and polka dots by Lovable; Bendon offered a touch of fuchsia; while sheer black pieces and sweet bows were across the entire collection.

In the white Bendon corset, with pink touches to the tips of her golden curls, Hawkins closed the show by blowing a cheeky kiss to the audience.
