Fergie’s NBA All-Star anthem performance got people talking, but not in a good way

Fergie’s performance of the national anthem at Sunday’s NBA All-Star Game got people talking.

It seems no one had anything positive to say.

Some likened the former Black Eyed Peas singer’s performance to Marilyn Monroe, when she sang “Happy Birthday, Mr. President” to John F. Kennedy in 1962.

Most others cringed, laughed or wondered what she was doing. One person even compared her rendition of “The Star-Spangled Banner” to the famously bad performance from Carl Lewis in 1993.
