A FARNHAM blogger who asks strangers what to wear is amassing an army of fashion followers.
Gemma Rogers was left with no-one to turn to for clothes tips after her mum died suddenly of cancer last year.

So the 34-year-old launched her blog What to Wear – GG Rogers Is A Girl Who Can’t Decide asking followers to vote for their favourite outfit.
Now more than 16,000 people worldwide are involved in telling Gemma how to dress each day.
Gemma, who posts pictures on Twitter and her blog of users’ options for outfits, said: “I lost my mum quite suddenly to sarcoma and me and my mum were really close.
“We were best friends and it was always my mum that I used to go shopping with and it was always her that I would turn to for what to wear.
“At the end of 2011 I didn’t have anyone to ask so I asked my Twitter followers. That’s how it started and it grew from there.
“I get nearly 1,000 hits every time I post a blog and they are worldwide – North America, Japan, UAE and people in Australia. I get people all over.”
Visitors vote and choose the clothes she should wear when she goes out to events ranging from dinner parties to weddings or drinks with friends.
Gemma continued: “It is just good fun. It’s one of those questions that every woman has asked at some point in their life. Women always say they don’t know what to wear, even though they have got a closet full of clothes.
“It’s also got that interactive feel because they vote on what I am going to be wearing. It’s completely down to them and they like that they are choosing what I am going to be wearing.
“From the comments that I get I think they actually like my style. They are engaging with what I like and how I dress.”
Her unusual blog had Dragons’ Den’s Theo Paphitis tweet his followers about it when he met Gemma at his store opening in Bath a few months ago.
“I was invited along to his store opening, one of his lingerie shops, and I did a little post on what to wear.
“I cheekily tweeted him to see if he would get involved. I was very surprised I got a tweet back saying which outfit he would vote for. That was fantastic as I wasn’t expecting a reply,” she said.
The wedding dance choreographer now hopes to link her successful site with High Street retailers.
She said: “It keeps on growing and I’m getting more followers and more hits on the site.
“Initially it was set up innocently but now it has really taken off. I can see how much potential it has so I’m hoping that retailers will get involved.”
