‘Child’ picked up by Michelle Mone in Vietnam turns out to be 46-year-old married man

Michelle Mone’s plea for a Kodak moment ended rather differently to how she expected. The Glaswegian entrepreneur and Conservative peer scooped up what she thought was a ‘six year old’ to pose for a photo but it turned out she was holding a 46-year-old fully grown married man.
To make matters worse, the incident unfolded on stage at an entrepreneurs conference in Vietnam in front of an audience of around 3,000 people.
The 44-year-old Baroness of Mayfair, who is the founder of lingerie company Ultimo, has expressed her humiliation at the awkward incident.
“Most embarrassing moment. Speaking in Vietnam to 3,000 people, thought this was a 6 year old, picked him up, he’s a MAN,“ she wrote on Twitter.

The man initially approached Mone to present her with flowers, which she cordially received and then proceeded to pick him up so they could take a photo together.
”The guy was fine with it and the whole room was screaming with laughter,” Mone told The Mail On Sunday. “I thought something was wrong – his teeth were bright yellow from nicotine.”
The incident has prompted some discussion on Twitter. While the majority found the ordeal hilarious, with June Sarpong writing, “Hilarious, brings new meaning to picking up a man”, others were less impressed. “So your multiplying the mans humiliation by tweeting it to amuse your brain dead supporters,” wrote one user.
