The live audience assembled for the housemates’ entrance to the house booed most of the 16 contestants on arrival.
In Jade’s pre-recorded interview she said, “I do high fashion, high fashion lingerie. I describe myself as, obviously I’m beautiful, I’m energetic, free, sexual. My favourite night out would be naked in a forest somewhere.”
She added, “I’m polyamorous. Aren’t we always single?” and said, “If there’s conflict in the house, I’ll walk away or else I’ll bite, hard.”
Jade, who has participated in pageants in Dublin for the past six years, arrived in a revealing bodysuit and towered over host Emma Willis who asked her if she was single.
“I’m in an open relationship,” she said. Asked if she would hook up with everyone in the house, she laughed, “Shall we see? Let the games begin.”
Jade was amongst five housemates chosen by the public to take part in the first Timebomb task. Simon, Nick, Adjoa and Jack joined her in choosing one of five timebombs each, which promised consequences for their time in the house.
Jack got immunity, which gave him three immunity passes to use during his time in the house. Nick got nominations, so he must nominate face to face in front of his fellow housemates throughout his time in the house.
Jade got luxury so she could claim luxury shopping budgets exclusively for her throughout her time in the house.
Adjoa’s timebomb was empty which meant she remained in the house whilst Simon faced immediate eviction.
Earlier in the evening, both Chloe from Doncaster and Kieran McLeod, who were first and second to enter the house respectively, bonded over both having Irish family.
Simon Gross (46) dubbed himself Mr Showbiz to booming boos from the crowd. He simply booed them back.
Conservative councillor Joel (19) endeared himself to the crowd following a nervous, awkward interview with Willis.
DJ Cristian described himself as a “ladies man” and was both booed and cheered on arrival unlike Ukip voter Harriet who was simply booed.
Jack, aka ‘Pieface’, is a floor manager in McDonalds and is already favourite to win the competition and the £150,000 prize money. The crowd responded to his arrival with uncharacteristic whistles and cheers.
Manchester twins Sally and Amy declared they won’t be anybody’s friend. They were followed by Adjoa, also from Manchester, who revealed she is a pastor’s daughter although she does “set out to shock” and can be “really sweet or really psycho bitch”.
Nicholas said he does “nothing for a living” and spends his days in his dressing gown, taking his vitamins. He also said he “has always been a difficult child” and “hasn’t really got any real friends”.
Danny, a former semi-professional footballer and friend of a Geordie Shore cast member, said his ideal night out would be to “book a hotel out of town, meet up with the boys, get absolutely shit faced and see if we can get a few girls back to the hotel, just for a party, nothing sexual.”
He said he wouldn’t rule out having sex in the house if he drinks enough alcohol.
Law student Sarah said she “likes a good argument” and is “not a very good person to live with” and is definitely “a bitch”. She entered the house to relentless booing.
Model Aaron recently came out to his mum and wants to make her proud, and meet the man of his dreams in the house.
Eileen has played ten vampires in her own movies and made it to the end of bootcamp on X Factor last year. She also has botox parties with her girlfriends.
