Prince Harry snagged former President Obama for an interview as part of his stint as a guest editor for the BBC Radio 4 news program which aired Wednesday, discussing topics spanning current events and Harry’s upcoming wedding to Meghan Markle.
In a lighting round of the interview, which took place during the Invictus Games in Toronto in September, Harry asked Obama whether he prefers Suits, the USA drama that famously starred his fiancée, over The Good Wife.
“Suits, obviously,” Obama said.
“Great answer,” Harry replied.
The newly-engaged prince briefly spoke about his Christmas spent with Markle and the royal family, who “loved having her there” in for the day in Sandringham.
In an additional BBC interview, Harry called Markle’s holiday visit “fantastic.”
“She really enjoyed it,” he said. “The family loved having her there.”
As for the royal wedding on May 19, 2018, Harry wouldn’t confirm whether Obama would be on the guest list, saying, “I don’t know about that, we haven’t even put the invite or the guest list together, who knows if he’s going to be invited or not. I wouldn’t want to ruin that surprise.”
Elsewhere in their conversation, Obama didn’t mention President Donald Trump’s name while speaking about how social media can drive people apart, which he said complicates “how the country moves forward.”
“All of us in leadership have to find ways to recreate a common space on the internet,” he said. “One of the dangers of the internet is people can have entirely different realities. They can be just cocooned in information that reinforces their current biases.”
Obama stressed the importance of a “common space” on the internet that provides news that all Americans from different political leanings can trust.
“It used to be, in the United States for example, we had three television stations and everybody watched Walter Cronkite or David Brinkley or whoever the chief anchor was,” he said, recalling the golden age of TV news. “Everybody had a common set of facts, and so there might be conservatives and liberals, but people could generally agree on a baseline of reality.”
The former president also looked back on his legacy, calling health care reform one of his biggest accomplishments and addressing criticism that he was too “dispassionate and professorial and analytical” while on the job.
“I don’t think I can do my job well, or that any leader can do their job well if they don’t have the capacity to feel deeply for the people they’re serving,” he said, again potentially alluding to President Trump’s current stint in office. “The great danger that often befalls leaders is that the people they’re supposed to be serving become abstractions. If you don’t understand that what you do every day has a profound impact on somebody else, then you shouldn’t be there.”

Vanity Fair sent liberals into a tizzy this week by posting a video that mocks Hillary Clinton by suggesting New Year’s resolution possibilities for the failed presidential candidate.
The 63-second video recommends that Clinton starts working on a sequel to her book, “What Happened,” but with a new title, “What the hell happened?” Another Vanity Fair staffer thinks Clinton should “disable autofill” on her iPhone so that typing a simple “f” doesn’t automatically become “form exploratory committee.”
Another suggestion for Clinton is to teach a class on the alternate nostril breathing that she famously discussed during an interview with CNN’s Anderson Cooper, while another Vanity Fair staffer proposed that Clinton take more photos in the woods because, “How else are you going to meet unsuspecting hikers?
Knitting, volunteer work and improv comedy are suggested as new hobbies that will keep Clinton from running for president again in 2020. One Vanity Fair staffer said it is time Clinton finally puts away her James Comey voodoo doll.
“It’s a year later and time to move on,” a staffer says while others raise a glass of Champagne and offer cheers to the former first lady.
While the attempt at humor by Vanity Fair appears to be light-hearted and in good fun, left-leaning viewers stormed Twitter with complaints and defended Clinton. Former Clinton adviser Peter Daou even started a hashtag “CancelVanityFair” and encouraged his followers to boycott the magazine.Liberals are so upset that some are burning copies of the magazineand threatening to subscribe just so they can turn around and cancel. One comedy writer didn’t find the video funny, telling Vanity Fair to “stick to determining which celebrity was best dressed on the red carpet.”
“So @VanityFair decided that the best way to end 2017 was to take a repulsive cheap shot at @HillaryClinton, one of the most accomplished women in the history of the United States,” Daou wrote. “Suggesting the first woman to be a major party presidential nominee should take up knitting is a stunning lack of judgment on @VanityFair‘s part.”
Actress Patricia Arquette responded, “Hey STOP TELLING WOMEN WHAT THE F— THEY SHOULD DO OR CAN DO. Get over your mommy issues,” while anti-gun advocate Shannon Watts asked, “Anyone ever tell Al Gore, Mitt Romney or John Kerry to go away and try knitting?”
“You owe Hillary an apology,” one user tweeted. “I’ll never read you again!”
One professor posted a multi-tweet thread offering advice on how the magazine can recover from a “major scandal over a stupid sexist video.”
After a ton of backlash, Vanity Fair told the Washington Post that the video was “an attempt at humor and we regret that it missed the mark.”
Clinton’s team did not immediately respond to request for comment.
Besides being completely out of touch, this video just isn’t funny. Delete your account.

Really? Maybe it’s time for Vanity Fair to fire the person who green lighted this pathetic garbage list. You should be ashamed of yourselves.

Vanity Fair staffers should hope to accomplish 1/100th of what Hillary has in her life. Who are they to make any suggestions?!
