Once an ample bosom meant shying away from strapless bras and their lack of support.

But now bigger-breasted women need not worry about wearing shoulder-baring summer dresses – thanks to a strapless bra designed especially for them.

The Naturally Close bra costs between £24 and £30 and is available in sizes up to 50L, making it the world’s largest without straps.

Unlike many other large underwear items, the Naturally Close bra is made of sheer fabric and uses silicone technology.

The bra can be worn conventionally, strapless, cross back, halter-neck and asymmetrically.

Silicone elastic is used along the neckline and under-band to ensure security.

The bra also has extra boning in the sides to enhance the bust shape and profile.

Lollie Todd, lingerie buyer at JD Williams, which produced the bra, said: ‘In the UK women often accept that a bigger bust means limited lingerie options and more often than not, rather less alluring ‘boulder-holders’.

In Europe, the ladies refuse to forsake fashion for comfort.

‘We want to reassure the curvier lady that choosing between support and style isn’t the only option as the Brazil inspired bra offers both – embracing your curves with cutting edge technology.’

It is available in black, white, ivory, teal, pink and mocha.

The average Briton’s bra size is 34DD but experts have said the demand for larger ones is soaring – with 12 per cent of JD Williams customers wearing J,K or L cups.

The body shape of women has altered in the last few decades with many discovering they have developed bigger breasts due to changes in diet and lifestyle.

Bravissimo launched the first 28-inch back size and fitted shirts tailored for women with bigger chests as well as introducing the KK-cup size in 2009.

But the KK was not enough and customers soon complained that they needed an even bigger size.

In response the firm released the jumbo bra in cup sizes D to L in 2011.

Plus-size clothing retailer N Brown launched their own version of the strapless K bra in 2012 – which was jokingly dubbed a ‘hammock’. The bra was far from dowdy, with the firm crediting the garment for a recent rise in sales.

Its chief executive Alan White said the strapless bra was one factor behind a 2 per cent increase in sales in a six month period.

In a year, the 42K bra sold more than £100,000 of stock worldwide – accounting for a tenth of the company’s bra sales in 2011.

50L – that’s one hell of a lot of silicon

Always have one in your hand luggage when travelling by plane. It is a good substitute for a parachute.

Heaven forbid! Take me back to the dream of a Maidenform Bra!

Well the model shown in the photo certainly isn’t wearing a size 50. Looks like a 36 C. If she was a size 50 we wouldn’t be able to see her belly button!

Soooo….. you don’t trust your product enough to actually show a real 50H woman??

Most women with a 50L bra size will be very overweight. I don’t want to see them in strapless clothing!

Go camping with a 50L.

Sorry, but if someone’s that big I don’t want to see them in a skimpy, strapless dress…

Strapless dresses are rarely flattering on anyone, but a definite no no for huge busted ladies, ugh!!!!!

More than half of people in the UK have attempted to win back a former partner by buying them a gift of some sort.

And nearly two thirds of those (62 per cent) said it worked a treat in rekindling a romantic relationship.

It’s mostly men who prefer to use this tactic, with 41 per cent of those polled choosing the gift of flowers. Three-quarters of women, on the other hand, have ditched the idea of a gift and instead used sex in an attempt to get back with their ex partner.

New research has revealed that most men use gifts to try and win back an ex, with 41 per cent of them choosing the flowers as a present

Just a quarter of men have tried to seduce a former partner in the bedroom to get them back.

More than a third (36 per cent) of men have played hard to get to win back an ex, while two thirds (64 per cent) of women have done the same.

Despite sex games being a popular tactic the new research shows that the majority of British people feel that giving a gift is the best way to win back an ex.

The most common gifts given by men
included flowers, jewellery and lingerie, whilst women were more likely
to give men sports/music tickets, clothes or games consoles.

Researchers polled a total of 1,927 people, aged 18 and over, split evenly between the sexes.

All participants taking part in the research by findmeagift.co.uk had admitted to having previous long-term relationships and then subsequently attempted to win their ex-partners back.

Individuals were initially asked to disclose the various ways in which they had attempted to win back their former lovers.

In order
to assess how successful a gifting approach is when attempting to repair
a broken relationship, respondents who had given a gift were asked: ‘Did you get back
together with your ex-partner after giving them a gift?’

More than two thirds said they had and the researchers then compiled a list of the top five gifts
that men and women had bought to win their former partners back.

The most common methods used to try and win back an ex-partner

1. Gifts/presents/tokens of love – 54 per cent (58 per cent men, 42 per cent women)

2. Offering sex – 37 per cent (24 per cent men, 76 per cent women)

3. Playing hard to get – 31 per cent (36 per cent men, 64 per cent women)

4. Making ex-partner jealous – 23 per cent (55 per cent men, 45 per cent women)

5. Attempting to get ex-partner drunk – 14 per cent (48 per cent men, 52 per cent women)

Gifts men give to an ex

1.       Flowers – 41 per cent
2.       Jewellery – 21 per cent
3.       Lingerie – 18 per cent
4.       Shoes/Handbag – 14 per cent
5.       Pet – 8 per cent

Gifts women give to an ex

1.       Sports/Music tickets – 31 per cent
2.       Clothes – 27 per cent
3.       Console/Games – 20 per cent
4.       Food/Drink – 15 per cent
5.       DVD’s/CD’s/Vouchers – 7 per cent

…when a person becomes an ex, it is for a reason…. that reason does not change just because a period of time has gone by where you were not together…

What an extremely unflattering portrait of modern women this article paints. That the modern woman sees sex as a means of winning back a partner rather than having to spend any money on them does not lend support to the female gender’s never-ending media portrayal of being ‘holier than thou’ with regards the male sex.

I have never squandered money on flowers for a woman, it’s very simple if a woman really loves you she does not need to be brought as there is a word for that. We are in 2014 and full equality rocks. Women do not generally buy flowers for a man so why on earth should a man do these things from a time gone by. Fair minded women will agree that equality must cover “all” areas, not just were it benefits them.

I’ve bought my husband flowers before, it made him giggle. I guess my life must just be generally happier than yours. Sorry.

Sex is a misdemeanor. The more you miss it the meaner you get! Still not worth getting back with an ex though. It was trouble then and will be again. New problems are more interesting to deal with.
