The young 21-year-old Nickelodeon star has had a pretty amazing career for such a young actress. Not only has she been given the opportunity to shine on the network’s popular series iCarly – which earned her a 2009 Teen Choice Award nomination – she was tapped to reprise her role of Sam Puckett in the mega hit spin-off series Sam and Cat. Unfortunately, things have come to a halt recently, with her infamous nude selfies being leaked online. Since that time, roughly a month ago, the rumor mill has been spinning out of control with hints of Sam and Cat being canceled and speculation regarding the young starlet’s character (not the one she plays on TV).  Now, the latest news comes after Jennette McCurdy’s “no-show”at this year’s Kids’ Choice Awards, with an angry tweet that seems to imply a feud with Nickelodeon.

Sam Puckett is not the only character McCurdy can play. She has had a plethora of other roles in her short, yet amazing, career. Prior to her current work, McCurdy began appearing on TV shows when she was only 8-years-old.  She’s had stints on MADtv, Malcolm in the Middle, Will and Grace, and Law and Order SVU, and many others. In 2005 she was nominated for a Young Artist Award for her role in Lifetime’s Strong Medicine. Then in 2008, she was nominated twice for a Young Artist Award, both for her role in iCarly and her performance in TV movie The Last Day of Summer. Aside from McCurdy’s acting, she has also managed to have a singing career, which doubled as a philanthropic outlet, donating a percentage of her proceeds to the Cody Waters Foundation. This was in honor of her friend that passed from brain cancer. All this, by the way, is aside from a short film she made about her own mother’s struggle with cancer. Debra McCurdy passed in 2013.

Amidst all these great career opportunities, accolades, and selfless acts, McCurdy has had to undoubtedly grow up the spotlight. As with any teenager or young adult, along with growing come hard life lessons. Perhaps one of the lessons for McCurdy, came with the nude selfies she recently took. While there may be nothing wrong with showing off, the ‘leaked’ photos have not necessarily made things easier for the young actress. It is still not clear exactly how the photos were leaked. However, there had been rumors the pics were exposed by former NBA boyfriend, Andre Drummond. He has since vehemently denied the allegations. Nevertheless, the photos, which reveal McCurdy in lingerie, have now been linked to a possible cancellation of her Nickelodeon series Sam and Cat, which has not yet been renewed for a second season. After refusing to attend the recent Kids’ Choice Awards, Jennette McCurdy took to the Internet, angrily tweeting: “I chose not to go because sticking up for what is right and what is fair is what my mom taught me… It has to do with how Nickelodeon treated me.”

While the post is somewhat vague, neither referencing why she is upset with Nickelodeon or what she is “sticking up for,” the rumors are pretty consistent across the board. The main speculation being that Nickelodeon has canceled Sam and Cat, due to the leaked photos, and McCurdy is unhappy with the outcome. However, McCurdy herself, has denied her recent tweets were in reference to the racy pictures, and Nickelodeon themselves have denied any feud over the incident. So, really, what is McCurdy tweeting about, after all? Well, perhaps, fans will find out soon enough. One thing is certain – Jennette McCurdy’s angry tweets towards Nickelodeon certainly have the public entertained.

Former “iCarly” star Jennette McCurdy is mad at Nickelodeon, and apparently the network is equally furious. Her TV show “Sam Cat” may be in trouble after the 21-year-old actress, who plays Sam, boycotted the Kids’ Choice Awards over the weekend amid rumors she’s feuding with her co-star Ariana Grande (Cat). “I was put in an uncomfortable, compromising, unfair situation,” she wrote on Twitter. “I chose to not go because sticking up for what is right and what is fair is what my mom taught me is ALWAYS the most important thing.” McCurdy also denied recently leaked photos of her in her lingerie were part of the problem: “It has to do with how Nickelodeon treated me.” A rep for Nick also denied the sexy selfies caused issues, but the popular show — averaging 4 million viewers — has shut down production as it is yet to be picked up for another season.

A new Drake song, “Draft Day,” features a sample of Lauryn Hill’s 1998 smash hit “Doo Wop (That Thing).” He also namechecks “Hunger Games” star Jennifer Lawrence, football star Johnny Manziel and Chance the Rapper. “If I’d leave this s— to chance, I’da picked a name like Chance the Rapper,” he raps, before saying “no offense.” According to NME, the Canadian hip-hop star also debuted a new track “Days in the East” at a concert last month, hinting a follow-up to 2013′s “Nothing Was the Same” album could be coming soon. Courtney Love says a Kurt Cobain musical is in the works as fans mourn the 20th anniversary of the Nirvana singer’s death this month. The grunge rocker’s widow says a Broadway musical is “very likely” to happen before a planned biopic and documentary: “After being swarmed by tons of Nirvana fan mail and social-media posts pushing for a musical to become a reality, both Frances [Bean Cobain] and I have thought long and hard and agreed,” Love said of the project. “I would devote countless hours with an A-team to create a project that reflects Kurt in the most respectful but honest way possible.” Cobain, who committed suicide on April 5, 1994, will be honored posthumously next week when Nirvana is inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

If you’re wondering why #RIPFloyd is trending on Twitter, it’s because Miley Cyrus’ dog died. “Today is the 2nd worst day of my life,” the 21-,year-old singer tweeted Tuesday after learning Floyd, her Alaskan Klee Kai passed away while she was on tour. “What am I gonna do without him? I am miserable,” she wrote before warning fans in Boston she might not be at her best for Wednesday night’s concert. Cyrus also made headlines Tuesday when she faked a feud with Avril Lavigne for April Fools’ Day and released her “Adore You (Remix)” single art, featuring the former “Hannah Montana” star topless on a horse.

Duff McKagan is reuniting with Axl Rose for five Guns ‘N’ Roses concerts this year. The former bassist said he’s filling for current member Tommy Stinson, who’s busy touring with The Replacements. GNR is performing five shows in South America this month before returning to the U.S. in May with Stinson back in the lineup.”It’s pretty great to play these songs again, and looking forward to playing some gigs with my pal again,” McKagan told Billboard. He last performed GNR songs when the band was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2012, though Rose skipped the ceremony.
