Vietnam’s top model Vu Nguyen Ha Anh will hold a mini live show on November 30 at Park Hyatt Saigon Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City to conclude her 8-year international modeling career and launch her musical one.
The Hanoi model has already sparked excitement among musical fans when a demo version of her debut single “Model (Take My Picture)” was released recently on the internet.
Within 24 hours after it appeared the single had more than 13,000 visits and comments and 26,000 search results although its full version will not be released until the end of this month.
Ha Anh announced her plan to expand her career to music 2 years ago when she first came back to Vietnam from the UK, where she got her Bachelor’s Degree in Business at the University of Reading and later worked as a professional model for 9 years.
However it is not until this year that Ha Anh was involved in a series of musical activities, such as joining the Vietnam version of the British reality music show “Just the two of us” where she was highly praised for her performances with singer Ho Trung Dung.
Ha Anh’s debut single was written by songwriter Antoneus Maximus, who authored the original soundtracks of recent Vietnamese blockbuster movies such as Long Ruoi and De Mai Tinh.
He is also known for his collaborations with world-renowned band Black Eyed Peas.
The official music video and DVD version of “Model (Take My Picture)” will be released and distributed nationwide on November 28 with the sponsorship of fashion magazine Haper’s Bazaar Vietnam.
Besides being known for sexy lingerie and underwear photo shoots in Vietnam, Ha Anh is also known as an MC as well as the host and judge for the first Vietnam’s Next Top Model in 2010.
She was also appointed as the Goodwill Ambassador of UNICEF Vietnam the same year.
Ha Anh is not the first model to pursue a professional singing career, but only Ho Ngoc Ha, also a former top model, has been able to make a successful career switch so far.

9 Rules For Washing Your Bras: What Your Lingerie Needs From You

It’s an unparalleled relationship. You’re supported, consistently, each and every day. You’ve probably been going steady for years, and you never have to make those oh-so-awkward parental introductions. Yes readers, we’re obviously talking about the tried-and-true commitment that exists between you and your bra.
The average woman owns nine bras but only wears six of them regularly. When you compare those statistics to the number of other outfit essentials you own, it becomes clear that extending the longevity of your lingerie is probably a good idea — especially as those undergarments can get quite pricey. Redbook Magazine reports that that women spend around $16 billion on bras each year, worldwide.
In an effort to help you increase the longevity of your lingerie, we spoke to a few experts who helped us put together a list of nine hard and fast rules to follow when it comes to bra care.
“Most of us have never been schooled in how to take care of our bras,” said Susan Nethero, founder of Intimacy boutiques, myintimacy.com (aka “The Bra Whisperer“).
Let us know if there are any foolproof tips we missed that you’ve picked up over the years!
Although this depends on your personal lifestyle and levels of hygiene, Nethero recommends that women wash any bra after wearing it twice. Of course, if it’s a sports bra, you should at least rinse it out in cool water (cold water helps a bra maintain its elasticity) after each use to get rid of the perspiration on it so that the fabric itself isn’t damaged. “You don’t want to destroy the fibers in the sports bra that cause it to wick moisture,” said Nethero.
If you rotate through your bras, this should come out to about once a week, according to Iris Clarke, owner of Iris Lingerie in Brooklyn. If you don’t rotate your bras, Iris recommends making sure they are washed every three or four days.
