She may be closing in on her 70th birthday, but cheeky Goldie Hawn still has a taste for lingerie.
The Overboard actress was spied browsing through the rails in the Lisa Norman Lingerie Etc store in Brentwood, California, eyeing up negligees.
Yet, despite her initial enthusiasm, tiredness soon caught up with the 66-year-old and she looked ready for a nap, leaning on the shop counter.

Draping her body on the nearest surface, Hawn spared a few seconds for a ‘time-out’ as she crossed her arms and arched her back.
Despite the slightly inelegant position, as Goldie’s derriere protruded in the air, it was clear to see she is the proud owner of a shapely silhouette that most twentysomethings would be enviable of.

Whether she was shopping for Kurt Russell, or buying a gift for daughter Kate Hudson, she looked content.
During her shopping spree, the blonde bombshell nattered on her phone, perhaps asking Hudson to remind her what size she is now.
The Almost Famous beauty, 32, gave birth to her second child Bingham – her first with Muse rocker Matt Bellamy – in July, and is ready to slip into something a little silky having regained her pre-pregnancy body.
Goldie braved the cold by wrapping up warm in leggings and a fur-trim jacket, but still hid behind the obligatory celebrity shades.

Despite going on a career hiatus in 2002, with her last film The Banger Sisters earning her a Golden Globe nomination for Best Actress In A Musical Or Comedy, Goldie looks set to return to screens.
The Oscar-winning star is close to signing on the dotted line for TV series The Viagra Diaries; pitched as ‘Sex And The City for women over sixty’.
US network HBO is keen to shoot a pilot episode, inspired by the book of the same name by Barbara Rose Brooker.
The show will centre on a woman (Hawn) struggling with being single for the first time in 35 years after her husband has a mid-life crisis and leaves.

Bangs, big glasses, and hair to cover most of the face. Keep the body trim and covered up. Everyone will tell you how fabulous you look, just like Goldie! It’s all smoke and mirrors, baby!

my opinion’s changed about her since I read a recent article with one of her ex-lovers.

Why 142 negatives on Ellen? She is right. When you keep the same hairstyle for 40 years the only thing that changes is your face. Look how cute she looked on Laugh-in in the 60′s with short hair. It would give her face a lift. I would love to see her in a current style. Her hair is boring and does nothing for her.

I wouldn’t exactly say she looks amazing. If you were to see a close up picture of her she looks every bit of her 70 years (not a bad thing, she is simply a wrinkled up woman who spent a lot of time in the sun). Agree with the other comment about her hair – she’s too old for that look and is long overdue for a makeover.

Lingerie chain La Senza calls in restructuring experts

Struggling lingerie chain La Senza has become the latest retailer to call in restructuring experts, but Andy Street, managing director of department store chain John Lewis, is optimistic that this Christmas will not be as bad as many think.
A number of high street retailers are battling for survival, with shoe chain Barratts Priceless calling in administrators last week.
La Senza, which is owned by private equity firm Lion Capital, has appointed KPMG to advise on its restructuring options, including administration or a company voluntary agreement.
However, Street said Christmas could turn out better for many retailers than expected. “The high street performance is not nearly as bad as some commentators would have us believe,” he told the Guardian.”
While sales at John Lewis were flat in November, they improved in the run-up to Christmas and the department store enjoyed a record performance last week, and is on track to beat that this week. Online sales are 25% higher than last year. Although consumers were clearly feeling the pinch, many households were prioritising Christmas spending, said Street.
“This reflects that John Lews is outperforming the market but it also reflects other retailers as well,” he said. “Even in a tough year customers really want to protect spending at Christmas. They almost sacrifice other things in order to spend at Christmas. I think a number of retailers are going to come forward with pretty good numbers for December.”
However, this did not alter the fact that next year would be tough. “We know that consumer spending is still going to be tight, so we will probably be going back to the negative or flat numbers overall that we’ve seen through the autumn.”
The next rent day, when shops’ quarterly rents fall due, is on Christmas Day, but pundits believe many struggling retailers will hold out until late January, to assess their performance in the post-Christmas sales.
There may be another wave of business failures then if Street’s optimistic predictions for the festive season do not come true.
