Sunny fumes over lingerie auction!

About a week ago, Sunny Leone made headlines for an incomparable reason. Her Jism 2 director, Pooja Bhatt, had announced that she would auction all the costumes of the cast — including their underwear — for a charitable cause.

While the news created a media furore, there was a slight

problem. Apparently Pooja had declared the charity auction without informing Sunny and when the news went viral, the actor was caught unawares.

“She was a bit upset because it wasn’t discussed with her,” says a source on the sets of Jism 2. “She doesn’t have any issues with the auction, but if she had been informed, she would have been better prepared for all the queries.”

According to our source, the lack of communication occurred because Sunny had returned to India from the Jism 2 shoot in Sri Lanka the day Pooja made the announcement. “And what’s there to be upset about? All the clothes belong to the producers and
they can do whatever they want with them?” says the source. The proceeds from the charity event will go to PETA.

Later however, the actor discussed the issue with Pooja and other cast members of Jism 2, and clarified the matter via her Twitter account. “I don’t own the wardrobe,” she posted on the microblogging website. “It sucks I didn’t know (about the auction). I don’t really know anything about it. I’m not personally selling any worn clothes from Jism 2. If the Jism 2 company is selling them for charity then it’s an amazing thing. Hopefully all the money is going to (a) good charity (sic).”

“It was a spur of the moment decision. As soon as she came back to Sri Lanka, we informed her. So she has been in the loop about everything leaving no room for her to be upset,” says Jism 2’s co-producer Dino Morea.

At the time of going to press, neither Sunny, who was on a flight to Los Angeles, nor Pooja, who is still in Sri Lanka, could be contacted. Jism 2 will release on August 3.
