Boy oh boy, these pieces in the Victoria’s Secret Summer Designer collection are seriously lovely and super-feminine! Beautiful model Barbara Palvin rocks some of these eye-catchers posing gracefully for photographer Greg Kadel. “Our girls are always, they’re just so almost freakishly beautiful,” VS Chief Creative Officer Janie Schaffer told W magazine. “It’s like they just had a baby but there they are, and it’s like perfection.”
So, if you are still trying to figure out how to amp up your summer wardrobe, just have a nosey at this dreamy line that features bras, corsets, panties and dainty gowns. “It’s such an exciting move for us, to be able to do something that’s so ethereal and beautiful,” says Janie Schaffer. “And I think [the public] now sees us as a lingerie retailer, more than just a shop that sells knickers and bras.”
Speaking about the collection, Schaffer belives that it is more like “a nod to the European lingerie sensibility.” “Americans have completely changed their viewpoint of lingerie, I think, over the last few years. People are now wearing sets. The beautiful Chantilly lace bras are selling the best.”

ST. LOUIS COUNTY (KSDK) — Right now they don’t have a place to play, but that didn’t stop the Lingerie Football League from holding tryouts on Sunday.
About 90 women competed for a spot on the St. Louis Saints at the Vetta Sports Complex in south St. Louis County.
Organizers insist the women who tried out are serious athletes. Many played soccer or softball in high school and college.
Competition for one of the 20 spots on the roster was pretty fierce.
“Yea it was tougher than I expected, said former SLU soccer Player Julia Brandenburg. “It seems like there were some girls who played football and it looks like it’s going to be really competitive which is what I was hoping.”
The team doesn’t have a home field yet. Negotiations between the LFL and the St. Charles Family Arena fell apart after the league refused to guarantee dates and money.
The league chairman wouldn’t go into specifics but says he’s looking at three local locations.
