A lingerie firm has released a colouring-in calendar featuring pictures of scantily-clad women to capitalise on the craze for grown-up versions of the childhood pastime.

London-based Bluebella created the adult-themed chart using illustrations of their boudoir underwear collection with models pictured in basques, suspenders and stockings.

Couples are encouraged to spend time together filling in the different delicate patterns featured on the images.

Caterina is modelling her lingerie in blue here, but couple’s are challenged to come up with their own designs and send them to Bluebella

January features Vivienne, pictured, posing in a £36 bra, £20 briefs and £15 suspenders while for February she is modelling a £24 Basque

Brooke (left) is showing off her £24 basque and kimono set and Entice models a body dress, but you can decide on the colours

The British company made the move after adult colouring-in books became a ‘publishing phenomenon’, with hundreds of thousands of books sold.

Intricate designs on lace work, straps and bows can be filled in as well as the bodies and faces of the models themselves.

Emily Bendell, chief executive of Bluebella, said: ‘We got the idea to do an adult colouring in book because the current Bluebella collection contains a lot of fine lace work detailing and the intricate patterns looked very similar to some of the current colouring in books on the market.

‘We are hoping that women will send in their ideas for new colour combinations for our lingerie from their colouring in books. If we love the colours they could feature in our next season’s collection.’

Adult colouring-in books have become quite the fad, with even Labour Party leader Jeremy Corbyn getting his own title.

As previously reported, it features the Left-wing firebrand in a variety of tongue-in-cheek poses.

Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn even features in a grown-up colouring-in book released earlier this year, pictured left and right

Mr Corbyn is posed up in a variety of surreal images including this one in Leonardo da Vinci’s Creation of Adam, pictured,

Surreal images see him takes on a Biblical role in Leonardo da Vinci’s Creation of Adam, the Mona Lisa, and also trying out the part of Moses by parting the Red Sea.

The images for the calendar taken from the current Bluebella Autumn/Winter 2015 and Spring/Summer 2016 collections.

Bluebella’s 2016 Adult Colouring-In Calendar is available for £9.99.
