CHRISTOPHER HALL, 23 FROM COUNTY FERMANAGH

He’s an opinionated journalist with a lot of love for Benefit Street’s White Dee and loud-mouthed Katie Hopkins.
Enjoying the thrill of the chase, he admits that ‘making things happen is everything to me’, and insists that his passion about ‘having an opinion’ is the right way to go about things.
Having never been in a relationship, he enjoys the idea of love and ‘building something special with the right man’ – could they be waiting for him in the Big Brother compound?
They may have to make the first move as his confidence evaporates when it comes to relationships.
He ‘won’t hold back and wants to let loose and have no regrets’, claiming to get on best with ‘eccentric, uninhibited people’, whilst struggling with those who are ‘egotistical’ and ‘judge’, despite sometimes being guilty of this himself.
DANIELLE McMAHON, 25 FROM GLASGOW

This lingerie model doesn’t mind admitting that she lives life by strict Catholic values, claiming not to be homophobic but not a believer of equal marriage.
Hoping to secure an investment for a business making a ‘new type of Wonderbra’, she may have walked into the wrong audition room and be looking for Lord Alan Sugar upon entry to the BB house.
Idolising Britney Spears ‘until she went crazy’, her mother and God now take idol status, and says her friends would describe her as ‘confident, savvy, intelligent, determined and sensible’.
She’s hoping for some ‘well mannered, cultured, mature’ housemates and enjoys keeping her cards close to her chest, disliking ‘liberal girls’ who enjoy telling vulgar stories.
Post Big Brother, she hopes she can become a role model for women and young girls, being disgusting at the trends of the modern-day.
HELEN WOOD, 27 FROM BOLTON

After hitting headlines three years ago for an explicit affair with Wayne Rooney, she doesn’t regret her actions but wishes that the press hadn’t got ahold of the story, blowing things out of proportion.
She has a 10 year old son who she lives with, and compares herself to Katie Hopkins because of her very forthright views, including being ‘massively against abortion’.
‘I’ve always been the class clown, and I think it’s important to always have a sense of humour, I’m rarely serious’ she divulges, before claiming she can get stressed really easily because of her short temper.
A hater of materialistic people, she likes a man who can make her laugh and with single status and some new veneers that cost her £6,000, she could find romance in the house despite not looking for it.
Very competitive, she hopes there’s a lot of physical challenges and will get on well with people who are real.
‘There’s nothing worse than a faker f***er. I also hate girls who act thick when they’re not”, she says.
MARK BYRON, 24 FROM LIVERPOOL

‘I’m a good loyal friend until people cross me – then it’s another story.’ states Mark, a self-confessed animated fashionista with a passion for looking good.
Going to get his hair professionally done four times a week, as well as indulging in a weekly spray tan and updates to his HD ‘brows, he may struggle without the pampered life when stuck between the famous four walls.
He says he’s a ‘bit psychic’, and can fly off the handle over tiny things such as the wind blowing ‘my hair out of place’.
Despite this he enjoys not having a filter, saying what he wants when he wants to, never thinking before he opens his mouth. ‘It’s part of my charm.’
Dating is difficult as he’s too picky, and when it comes to competing he will sulk if he doesn’t come out on top.
Hoping to keep a ‘high energy’, he’ll get on well with everyone except ‘d**k heads’ and judgemental people.
KIMBERLY KISSELOVICH, 23 FROM CALIFORNIA
Credit: Channel 5
California girl Kimberley has been a Playboy model around the world, spending her time in the Playboy Mansion and being awarded ‘cyber girl of the month’ for her unique look.
She enjoys exploration of her sexuality and intellect, helping her ‘delve depper’ into hot yoga, photography, painting and travelling.
Her Twitter includes a ‘wishlist’ which ‘admirers’ can go onto, and ‘treat her to gifts’.
Choosing love over money, she doesn’t enjoy spending time with people who ‘take advantage of my kind nature’, and often gets into fights with guys who over-compensate whilst flirting.
Self-confessed ‘twerking queen’, she gets on best with ‘lads’ and says she’ll clash with anyone who’s from Essex, despite not knowing them prior.
MATTHEW DAVIES, 23 FROM HERTFORDSHIRE
Credit: Channel 5
Deliberately provocative and a stirrer of trouble, Matthew isn’t afraid to voice his opinions.
‘Stereotypically feminine’ and ‘camp’, he often gets questioned about his sexuality despite being in a relationship with his girlfriend for five years now.
He likes the fact he doesn’t fit in, his confidence and lack of ability to be intimidated, as well as never second guessing himself and having a ‘dry’ sense of humour.
Saying that friends would describe him as ‘standalone, loud, vain and pretentious’, Matt will enjoy tasks where he can ‘prove I am more intelligent than someone else’.
‘Intelligent people with opinions and something to say’ are those he believes he’ll get on best with, and he’ll openly antagonise anyone that sits on the fence.
As a housemate he thinks he’ll be controversial, ‘a bit of a prima donna and drama queen’.
PAULINE BENNETT, 49 FROM WOLVERHAMPTON
Credit: Channel 5
Describing herself as idiosyncratic, opinionated and overly picky, she has had in the past a top 10 single with Kylie Minogue, despite telling the Australian pop princess that she thought her songs were ‘sh*t’.
She names her son as the most important person of her life, and her all-time idol is Maya Angelou whose poetry helped her come to terms with her ethnicity as a youth.
If someone calls her a liar, or things don’t go her way she will fly off the handle but says she is a good listener who doesn’t ‘suffer fools gladly’.
Red meat, rapping in public and anything out of the sea all scare her rigid, but she thinks she could win with the potential of causing a stir in the house.
Her 50th birthday will come around whilst she’s in the house (if she makes it that far), and she’ll be sticking to her opinions without a doubt.
Those who know her should know that within her friendship group she is the ‘opinionated joker that’s loved and adored by all’.
STEVEN GOODE, 23 FROM HERTFORDSHIRE
Credit: Channel 5
Passionate about being successful he doesn’t mind everyone knowing that he has to be more successful than everybody else.
Choosing money over love because ‘money hurts and affects you less’, he says his best personality trait is his generosity.
‘I am extremely generous, spend stupid amounts of money and I’m always the first one at the bar to buy people drinks.’
He notes that he has a huge phobia of rats, giving the graphic response of ‘my bowel would probably drop out of my arse!’ when asked what would happen if he ever saw one.
Stating he’s always been the centre of attention, he ‘would have to make sure that everyone knew this’, but thinks his gobby nature could hinder his chances of taking home the winner’s title.
‘Historically people who are gobby and stubborn, they don’t win, but I would like to think I could win’.
TAMARA STEWART-WOOD, 24 FROM LONDON
Credit: Channel 5
She believes that she is the most important person in her life, after running away from home with a street ball extreme player at the age of 16.
Despite calling him the love of her life, the relationship didn’t have a happy ending, and she says that though her family is close, she doesn’t feel she fits in because of her being a ‘loose cannon’.
‘I’m known as Cruella Deville or a heartless bitch’ she says, admitting she doesn’t believe she’s ever been kind to a single person.
Her best trait is that people don’t knwo what to expect with her, and when she goes out she is a real ‘all or nothing girl.
‘Thick’ but ‘really fit’ men are her type, though because of the amount of men she has ‘on the go’, she has to give all of them nicknames rather than remembering their birth names.
Very confident she’ll win, she thinks the hardest part of Big Brother will be the boredom.
WINSTON SHOWAN, 27 FROM ESSEX
Credit: Channel 5
Spending all of his money ‘on the lads and chasing the ladies’, he currently lives with his mate in his ‘bachelor pad’ as a ‘messy little puck’.
Dreaming of one day being a famous racing car driver, he’s a ‘secret romantic at heart’ and so would choose love over money.
He says he’s ‘the local superman’, always there to help others with his loyal, strong-minded and determined nature.
Friends would say he’s ‘a bit dippy, unintentionally hilarious, loyal and a party man who’s always up for fun’, he’s single and looking for a girlfriend.
‘I tend to go for brunettes with nice breasts and a fit body, but they also have to be quick-witted and can laugh at themselves’, and hopes to find love in the house.
Petrified of horses, he also detests insects but away from all of that, he believes he could be ‘the best housemate ever, as I’m charming, fun, charismatic, the list goes on…’
The first of two launches for Big Brother Power Trip begins tonight at 9pm on Channel 5.
