Fans of Australian rap artist Iggy Azalea will be familiar with seeing the bootylicious blonde dolled up as she hits the stage.
But the 24-year-old has certainly made quite the transformation since she first embarked on a musical career over six years ago.
New pictures have emerged of the artist’s first ever professional photo shoot taken back in 2008, where an 18-year-old Iggy is seen sporting long dark blonde tresses and heavy makeup.

Then and now: Iggy Azalea sported long dark blonde tresses and grungy makeup in her first professional photo shoot in 2008, left, which is a contrast to her more polished super star look six years later, right
Sultry look: The then 18-year-old showed off her petite frame in a red bralette and black satin high waisted shorts, along with dark smoky eye shadow and statement scarlet lipstick
Taken in Australia’s beach town of Byron Bay two years after she left school, the rising star showed off her petite frame in a red bra embellished with black lace in one shot.
The racy piece was teamed with a pair of high waisted black satin shorts that allowed her toned stomach and pins to be on display.
With one hand on her hip and the other touching her long locks, the singer gave a sultry stare to the camera.
Iggy’s luscious darker strands, a contrast to her now platinum blonde mane, were styled in bouncy diva waves that fell to her waistline.
Very relaxed: The rising star who had left school two years earlier looked quite at ease as she lay across a bed in a pair of pastel frilled briefs and a revealing white shirt
To complement the red and black ensemble that she was wearing, the singer sported a slick of bright red lipstick and dark smoky eye shadow.
In another photo from the shoot the ambitious musician wasn’t afraid to show some skin yet again, in a white frilled shirt, only secured with one button and revealing a glimpse of a matching bra underneath.
Iggy added a pair of rainbow pastel frilled briefs as she lay across a bed with her same statement makeup and long tresses spread out across the sheets.
The sizzling snaps were captured two years after Iggy, whose real first name is Amythest, dropped out of her school in the New South Wales country town of Mullumbimby at the age of 16.
Playing the fame game: As the star’s musical career started taking off following a relocation from Mullumbimby to Miami, Iggy began sleeking her hair back like she did at a Paris fashion show in 2011
Australian photographer Fran Flynn who took the professional photos told the Daily Mail Australia: ‘It was an absolute pleasure to work with Amythest/Iggy.’
‘Her lovely mum Tanya organised the shoot with me and was very supportive of her daughter’s aspirations. Amythest was already a total professional and had obvious star quality,’ Fran continued, before adding, ‘she played her demo CD for me during the shoot and we joked about how famous she might become.’
Blonde bombshell: In 2012 the rising star went platinum blonde in September as she showed off her slim body in LA, before letting her darker roots kick in contrasting a lighter hue at a Las Vegas event in December
The blonde beauty made her way to Miami in a bid to forge a bright career, and recently revealed in an interview on the Chelsea Handler Show that as she waited to make it big in music, she worked full-time cleaning houses.
It was in 2011, three years after this first photo shoot, that Iggy’s musical career really took off after she uploaded her first single to Youtube and achieved viral success.
With the release of a few EPs and mixtapes, the rising star joined the likes of Rita Ora and B.O.B on stage before releasing her own album The New Classic in 2003.
Candy colours: In 2012 the singer mixed up her look, swapping her scarlet lipstick for a bright pink shade and opting for a slick of winged eyeliner compared to smoky eye shadow
On stage style: Releasing her The New Classic album in 2013, Iggy took to the stage in London in racy outfits that showed off plenty of skin while alternating between curled updos and sleek straight locks
She has gone on to become the first artist since the Beatles to achieve the first and second places in the Billboard charts with hits Fancy and Problem, and along with strong musical success, has allowed her super star look to evolve.
The now 24-year-old blonde beauty regularly sports platinum long blonde locks usually styled sleek and straight or clipped at the front with subtle waves at the bottom.
And along with her array of racy two piece on-stage ensembles, Iggy has added some sophisticated red carpet ensembles to her wardrobe.
Going all out: With Billboard chart topping success, the rap artist is more confident than ever, taking to the stage in May earlier this year in Philadelphia wearing a racy leotard style number with fishnet stockings
Polished look: The rap artist was all class in a fitted white dress and cream jacket with her hair sleeked back at a fashion show in Milan last week

Is her bum actually legit? Least she’s embraced her smaller chest rather than getting herself a boob job

She was 18 in this photo, and it was taken in Aus? I actually had a lot of respect for her story about moving to the States aged 16 to pursue her dream, but it seems like yet again this is an example of Hollyweird feeding us made up stories.
