LOS ANGELES (TheWrap) – Apparently, Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss really did double the displeasure for Larry Summers.
The former Harvard president reaffirmed the perception created by the 2010 film “The Social Network” during an interview at Fortune’s Brainstorm Tech conference, characterizing the button-down siblings as a pair of “a**holes.”
“Rarely, have I encountered such swagger, and I tried to respond in kind,” Summers recalled. “One of the things you learn as a college president is that if an undergraduate is wearing a tie and jacket on Thursday afternoon at three o’clock, there are two possibilities. One is that they’re looking for a job and have an interview; the other is that they are an a**hole. This was the latter case.”
In the movie, Summers (played by Douglas Urbanski) is portrayed as dismissing the Winklevoss twins (played by Armie Hammer and Josh Pence) after they attempt to enlist his aid in muscling in on Mark Zuckerberg’s Facebook action.
The real-life drama surrounding Zuckerberg and the Winklevosses has involved numerous legal actions, with the twins claiming Zuckerberg had stolen the idea for Facebook from them, and Facebook countersuing, claiming that the pair — who had launched their own social-networking site, ConnectU — had hacked Facebook in order to steal information and spam the site’s community.
A settlement reached in 2008, which gave the Winklevosses and their partner, fellow Harvard student Divya Narendra, $65 million in cash and Facebook stock, has failed to quell the animosity.

The Star asked its Facebook friends to send in household tips that make cooking, baking and life in general easier.
For sending in her tips, Myra Wilson’s name was drawn to receive two free tickets to the Taste of Home Cooking Show.
Here are the tips submitted on Facebook:
Myra Wilson — When making deviled eggs, after boiling and letting cool, drain water and shake the eggs in the pot really good; the shell falls right off.
Katherine Brooks — Making chicken casserole? Pre-mix ingredients and place in freezer bag and store in freezer. Do not store the chicken mixture in the freezer door. The fluctuation of temperatures from opening the freezer will lead to freezer burn and a reduced shelf life.
Kimber Lail-Caldwell — Always keep a box of powdered milk on the pantry shelf. It is easily reconstituted for those times you have a recipe calling for milk. Adding a tablespoon of vinegar or lemon juice to a cup of reconstituted milk and allowing the mixture to sit for 5 minutes or so gives you a buttermilk substitute.
Laura N Chris Surber — Always have lemon juice around when making pound cakes. If you don’t have buttermilk, you can make it with lemon juice and regular milk.
Renee Putman Dyer — To save money on napkins, our family switched to cloth ones. It has saved a tremendous amount of money over the years. I always buy new cloth napkins on clearance after Christmas.
Belinda Self Mowery — Don’t throw out overripe bananas. Peel them and put them in freezer bag. Use them in smoothies for added taste and nutrition and cut down on the amount of crushed ice needed.
Sharon Sather Caralli — If having corn on the cob for supper, cut off both ends, place in microwave for about 5 minutes (depends on how many you have to cook). When ready to serve, pull off husks, the silks come off with the husks and you don’t have to mess with those silly hairs.
Genia Tessneer Doster — Get stung by a bee? Put a slice of onion on it. It will take the sting out of it.
Tammy Gregg Lafitte — Is your garbage disposal stinky? While running the water, add cut lemon or oranges slices and turn on disposal. It will smell real nice.
Sara Tessneer — Get your eyes/eyelids sunburnt? Boil a tea bag and place the cooled tea bag over your eye lids. It will soothe the pain and take the burn away. It works wonders.
Carolyn Hager — Add a little milk to scrambled eggs to make them fluffy.
Carolyn Hager — Put a lid on pasta and it will cook quicker.
Liana Blackwell — Pour a packet of Kool-aid lemonade mix in your dishwasher and run it one time to help clean stains and make it smell better.
Don Goins — To keep onions or tomatoes fresh, tie in panty hose legs and hang in a cool, dry place. Another tip from Don: Put a lid of water under each leg of your picnic table and ants can’t climb on the table.
Barbara Fowler — Wrap green tomatoes in newspaper and store in a cool, dark place and they ripen nicely.
Brandi Rogers — Dryer sheets can be used more than once. After each use, snip the corner and use again. Use four times and then toss in the trash.
