She made a name for herself as a lingerie model.

So in a successful smoldering effort to prove she’s still got it, Abbey Clancy wowed on Saturday evening in Verona, Italy.

Dressed appropriately as she made her way to the opening performance of Intimissimi on Ice: OperaPop, the 28-year-old stunned in a floor length sheer gown.

Putting on an awe-inspiring display, Abbey took to the red carpet in a striped purple gown made up of sheer panels.

Protecting her modesty, the mother-of-one wore a black lingerie under the silk ensemble which she topped with a black blazer.

Wearing her hair down in loose waves, Clancy, who is married to footballer Peter Crouch, wore a chunky black bracelet with a matching ring while she toted a small clutch bag.

The model completed her look with feline eyes and a nude shade of lipstick.

During the evening, those in attendance, who included Irina Shayk, Ana Beatriz Barros, Bianca Balti and Katsia Zingarevich, enjoyed performances by Happy singer Pharrell Williams.

Powerhouse artist Anastacia also sang at the the event which was a showcase for the latest styles of the luxury lingerie brand Intimissimi.

Skater Carolina Kostener dazzled on the ice at the frozen over amphitheatre as did Stephane Lambiel, Pang Qing, Tong Jian, Luca Lanotte and Anna Cappellini.

Back in the UK, Alex Gerrard appeared to be channeling her inner Cher on a night out by donning a see-through lace bodysuit that showed off not just her enviable figure but her white knickers.

The glamorous WAG, 31, opted for a cut-out black catsuit with sheer panelling for a visit to the Empire nightclub in Liverpool.

Gerrard wore her blonde hair in a sleek side parting and went for a sixties inspired makeup with false lashes and pale pink lips.
