I have a bit of a lingerie addiction. If it’s lacy, alluring and downright gorgeous, I want it. Now. I especially love under-the-radar brands that produce items with a unique look, and Lonely Lingerie fits that description to a T.

The line includes underwire bras ($85–$129), soft cup bras ($80–$99) and various cuts of panties ($59–$70). Each item features unique design elements such as eyelash lace, adjustable criss-crossing straps, velvet lining or sheer panels. Lonely Lingerie was founded in 2009 by partners Helene Morris and Steve Ferguson who were seeking to fill what they saw as a hole in the lingerie marketplace. They hope to provide women with vintage-inspired silhouettes featuring sensuous detailing that can’t be found elsewhere.

What drew me to the brand—aside from its unique pieces—was its Tumblr. It features women of all different shapes, races and sizes rocking the brand’s bras and underwear. While Lonely does have a gorgeous lookbook, these non-model images inspired me and made me lust after their lingerie even more. Seeing another woman wear something with confidence is a phenomenal selling point.

The styles I’m hoping to add my to unmentionables drawer soon include the Sabel Underwire Bra ($92) and the Lulu Cutout Bra ($85). Shop the full line here.
