A LINGERIE show will be held at Oxford Castle on Wednesday night as part of Oxford Fashion Week.

The show at the Malmaison Hotel will be the “most intimate” night of the autumn line-up, say organisers.

It is described as “a new exhibition of extraordinary and original lingerie designs, while paying homage to vintage styles”.

The dress code is black tie and tickets, for £17, are available from oxfordfashionweek.com, where there is also a video of lingerie-clad models posing with snakes from the Oxford Fashion Week held in March. The week of style also featuring a birds of paradise-inspired collection at Oxford Natural History Museum on Saturday, begins tonight with a launch party at the Camera Nightclub, in St Ebbe’s Street, from 10pm.

Full details of all the other shows taking place this week, including a High Street collection, an independent collection and a couture collection, are also available at the website.
