Kate Moss gets cheeky in Stella McCartney lingerie.
When Stella McCartney was invited to meet the queen in 2013, the designer wore jewelry that had belonged to her ultimate style icon: her mother, Linda. “With Philip Treacy’s help, we sewed them onto a fascinator,” the designer told Lynn Hirschberg in W’s October 2014 issue. “We added a veil, and I was set.”
Linda passed away from breast cancer in 1998, but her influence can still be felt in her daughter’s work, including her newest launch: pink, lacy lingerie for Breast Cancer Awareness month. A portion of the proceeds will go towards a new mammography suite at the Linda McCartney Center in Liverpool, which treats patients suffering from the disease. To promote the project, the designer recruited Kate Moss to model the pretty set in a photo shot by fashion faves Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott. Nothing beats getting sexy for a good cause.
