DAVID Gandy has proved that he is not just a beautiful face (and body) with the launch of his new underwear collection that he has designed for retail giant MS.
The handsome supermodel has over a decade of modelling experience under his belt from walking the catwalks of Milan and Paris to being the face of Hugo Boss, Massimo Dutti and Dolce Gabbana fragrance in 2006, where his career really took off.
Mollie King’s ex has designed his own underwear collection, exclusively for Marks Spencer and the capsule collection, entitled David Gandy for Autograph (MS’s premium department), comprises 28 items ranging from boxers and briefs to sleepwear.
The Essex-born model said: “Partnering with a great British brand like MS felt the perfect fit right now.

“We’ve been working closely for a few years, so it felt like a natural progression to collaborate with them on my own range,” said Gandy.
He’s the face of the MS Collection Menswear label and follows in the footsteps of Rosie Huntington-Whitley, who first modelled for the department store before creating her own range of women’s lingerie, Rosie for Autograph.
The model said: ‘It’s a really exciting time for me, seeing the collection that we’ve worked on for almost a year go into stores all over the world.
“Being able to visit some of those, meet customers and fans and see their reactions to the range we’ve created is something I’m looking forward to a lot – I hope they like it,” he added.
The designer concluded: ”I have to be honest, from sketching designs, choosing the fabrics, adding personal touches and even down to the packaging, I’ve been really involved and thoroughly enjoyed it. I’d love to do more if the opportunity came along.”
David Gandy for Autograph collection starts at £20 for a two pack of briefs or boxers, vests are priced at £15 and sleepwear starts at £22.50. It launches in London on September 18, after which it will be available in stores worldwide and online.
To launch the range, Gandy will make a personal appearance in MS’s Marble Arch store. He will then travel to Dublin, Hong Kong and Paris to personally unveil the collection.
