Last month, we told you about Naja, an upscale lingerie line looking for funding on Kickstarter. Before that, there was A Revelation in Fit, an Oakland lingerie shop that got started on Indiegogo. And let’s not forget Blackbird Underpinnings, a retro-inspired lingerie line out of Oakland that raised more than $40,000 on Kickstarter last year, according to SFGate.

Next up on our crowdfunding watch is Filiz Rezvan, a San Francisco-based line combining “femininity” and “couture craftsmanship” in designs that “hark back to vintage bespoke design.” Estimated cost of launching this dreamy collection: $10,800. (Hey, some people spend more than that making potato salad.)

While most of the pieces in the collection feature cutouts and strappy embellishments, the silk, high-cut briefs and balconette bras look surprisingly wearable. The bras are made with plastic underwear, which Rezvan says is more comfortable than metal.

The pieces are not cheap, so don’t expect to get a discounted bra and panty set by contributing to the funding campaign. You have to pledge $500 on Kickstarter to receive a bra and panty set of your choice, but you could buy a bra and panty set picture above through Rezvan’s online store for $320.

The question now: How much do you want couture undies? Are you willing to fork over the cash, or will you wait for the next lingerie Kickstarter? If you want to contribute, you have until 8 a.m. on Monday, September 22.
