Britney Spears is launching a line of lingerie called “The Intimate Britney Spears.” The collection will hit stores this September.
Britney Spears is launching a lingerie collection. The sultry singer is known for wearing skimpy outfits on stage and now she’s helping fans channel her sexy style at home with “The Intimate Britney Spears” line.

She announced the news on Twitter Wednesday, confirming her pieces would be available “very soon”.
Spears’ big news came with a picture of the 32-year-old star sitting on a bed wearing a black bra and briefs with sheer panels.
“Coming very soon… The Intimate Collection, by yours truly. http://www.intimatebritneyspears.com Just a peek at what’s to come. Xo,” she captioned the picture.
Spears is teaming up with Danish company Change Lingerie to create the collection. Fans will be able to get their hands on the underwear on September 9, when it will launch in New York with an appearance from the star herself.
As well as lingerie sets, kimonos, vintage-style bustiers, jersey camisoles, shorts and sweats will also be on offer, according to WWD.
“Every woman should feel confident and beautiful in everything she puts on. My vision for The Intimate Britney Spears is to create pieces that are sexy, luxurious and comfortable at the same time,” she said in a statement.
This collection marks the star’s first foray into lingerie. She has some fashion experience though, as earlier she teamed up with Candie’s for Kohl’s in 2010 to create a limited-edition co-branded line. The partnership didn’t last long. Spears, then a mother of two toddlers, refused to let the airbrushed photos of her posing in a bikini for a Candie’s ad campaign stand, the Mirror reported. She released the “before” photos to the media, too.
She’s also a big name in the fragrance world and recently released her 16th perfume, called Fantasy Stage.
