She’s fast becoming one of Australia’s most in demand models.

And David Jones ambassador Montana Cox showed why in a recent photo shoot for the retail giant.

The 22-year-old was the star of an artily shot campaign that saw her model a series of sustainable lacy lingerie sets for the fashion house’s Natural Habitat Green Brands Series to celebrate World Environment Day.

In the lowly lit room the Melbourne-born beauty has the air of a mysterious femme fatale as she slips between the sheets in a low-cut lacy black undergarment that shows off her delicate frame.

Her flawless face, half shot in the shadows, stares off into the distance, while she clutches a perfume bottle in one hand.

Next the model, who first rose to fame after winning 2011′s Australia’s Next Top Model, slips into a silk bra and white bottoms as she stands by the window, before donning a silky slip dress that clings to her diminutive frame.

The model’s next move is striking an Audrey Hepburn-esque pose, as face framed by an oval mirror she applies her mascara with one hand, while the reflection shows she’s wearing a one-shoulder top and pink dressing gown.

The clothing is part of a collection designed to reduce fashion’s footprint – David Jones’ go-to green brands.

Styled and shot by of-the-moment fashion stylist blogger and photographer Margaret Zang, the Australian beauty is modelling a range of apparel by Love Lustre, Nudie, Stella McCartney, LOVER and Nobody Denim.

The favourite of Lanvin, Dior, Kenzo and Pucci has an almost cinematic quality in the image her face flawless.

While her finely boned features are defined with a hint of blush, a slick of mascara and a muted pink on her lips.

Her brunette locks swept into an up do with strands escaping sexily, the work of hair and make-up artist Alison Boyle.

The stunning model who made her debut for the brand in 2012, has quickly garnered favour from designers with Fernando Frisoni saying, ‘I would book [Cox] with my eyes closed. I’d consider her opening my show’, as reported by Vogue.

Montana cites meeting Karl Lagerfeld and Anna Wintour amongst her career highlights so far.

‘Karl is really intimidating, but he really knows his stuff. Anna bumped into me and was, like, ‘Sorry, darling’. I was, like, ‘You can run into me any time!”.
