It was a sure bet after the success of the Lingerie Football League. It was only a matter of time before the Lingerie Fighting Championships came along.
Former Las Vegas Sin players and Las Vegas showgirls are on the eight-card bout of the new LFC President Michelle Blanchard at Silver Nugget this Friday.
“I wanted my first event to be really memorable,” former LFL star Michelle explained. “Some people have a problem with women fighting other women. And some people have a problem with women looking sexy. Put the two together, and some people’s heads explode!”
Her debut card features a mix of new fighters and veterans, including Brenda “Juice” Jones, who will take on Megan “Baby” Doll in the evening’s semi-main event. Fighters are coming from all over the world to the North Las Vegas casino’s event center for what promises to be as entertaining as it is controversial.
Promoters are predicting a sell-out in Las Vegas, and the event will be distributed by Multivision Media to 90 million households via cable, satellite PPV and Internet.
New LFC fighter Roxanne “The Viper” Romaro is unapologetic about her decision to join the league. “I’ve always been very athletic, and I love a good fight. I like that I can fight and still look pretty.” She takes on another first-time fighter in Chelsea “Feisty Fists” London.
Other matches include Riley “Nuclear” Norris vs. Susan “Tatia” Cordell and Sheila “Crash” Cardinal against Beth “Mount Crush” Moore. Maine “Main Event” Morgan drew Samiha “The Goddess” Glam as her opponent. Feather “the Hammer” Hadden takes on Holly “The Lotus” Mei in the evening’s main event.
