She’s one of Victoria’s Secret’s most celebrated Angels.

And Candice Swanepoel, 25, was at her glamorous best as she stepped out in New York City’s SoHo wearing a chic all-black outfit on Wednesday.

The willowy blonde star teamed a leather halterneck crop top with tight black trousers cropped at the ankle.

She added to her 5ft 8 stature with towering black metallic sandals featuring delicate straps.

Her long hair was worn straight and shiny while she added an oversized clutch bag with chain detailing to complete her evening look.

She tweeted her thanks to the designers who created her look, writing: ‘Thanks to @italogregorio @fulviafarolfi and @lindaandwinks for dressing me tonight #balenciaga @rag_bone #guiseppezanotti #nyc’

Candice appeared last month at the lingerie brand’s Bond Street store alongside marketing director Ed Razek, where they announced the 2014 Victoria Secret fashion show will cross the pond from its previous home in New York City to the capital at Earls Court on December 2.

Candice will take to the runway in what promises to be a spectacular show in front of a crowd of 2,500 in the Earls Court Exhibition Centre.

She will likely be joined by other Angels Alessandra Ambrosio, Behati Prinsloo, Doutzen Kroes, Lily Aldridge as well as Cara Delevengne, who has walked in the show for the past two years.

Featuring musical performances, pink carpet interviews, model profiles and a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the world’s most celebrated fashion show, the 2013 broadcast on December 10 was the night’s most viewed show.

She recently revealed that she loves to get away from it all at every opportunity and told Vogue:
‘Day to day is difficult; it’s more about getting away. Every couple of weeks, whenever I get time, I’ll go to Africa, or to Brazil, and find myself again.’

Adding to really get away from it all, the stunning model liked to take herself back to basics:’When I have free time, I like to go somewhere – not to a hotel and feel pampered and luxurious, but to just clean my slate and be in reality. Go stay in a tent somewhere.’

Meanwhile the star has recently starred in a series of ads of Mexican web hosting company Kio.
