After a shock early elimination on the X Factor Australia last year, Joelle Hadjia has returned to the music scene with a feisty new track.
The 23-year-old singer who goes by her first name professionally, released her music video for debut single Save Me on Wednesday night.
And along with her new edgy sound, the blonde beauty has used the video clip to reinvent herself and show off her sizzling body.

Sizzling: Joelle Hadjia has made her musical comeback complete with a saucy video clip
Racy: The blonde beauty shows off her toned body and hip tattoo in a black bra and matching underwear
The bubbly blonde, who has said that the song is about her personal experiences, did not hesitate to recreate her past romances for the video, stripping down in a hot bed scene.
Sporting a sizzling black bra and matching bottoms, the singer gets cosy with her onscreen boyfriend in the bedroom, finishing off her look with sleek straight long locks.
The high cut briefs show the singer’s hip tattoo, three lines of words which read: ‘I will remain focused and maintain my balance, I will not allow the endless mysteries of life to discourage my potential.’
This is Joelle’s first ever film clip and she has balanced the saucy bedroom scenes with some cute shots as well.
Opening with a close up sequence of the songstress wearing her headphones and belting out the high notes, the video goes on to show Joelle playfully hugging and pulling funny faces.
Getting cosy: Joelle snuggles up with her onscreen love interest for a romantic scene
Cute couple: Audiences are introduced to Joelle’s onscreen love interest
But the clip eventually takes a more serious turn with Joelle’s deeper lyrics.
‘I was always a simple girl, alone in this lonely world. Never knew what I needed, what I wanted, but it’s you,’ she sang whilst wearing a black singlet and matching cap worn back to front.
The lyrics continued with the lines, ‘Never believed in fairytales, never believed I’d find the knight in shining armour, what did I do to get this karma?’
The sassy singer, who split from South Sydney Rabbitohs star Sam Burgess last December, has revealed that she has drawn on personal heartbreak when writing her first independently released track.
Goofing around: The pair enjoy don’t hesitate to pull some funny faces
Heartache: The singer struggles communicating with her onscreen boyfriend as the video clip goes on
“Save Me isn’t just important to me because its my debut single, its also my story as to how I developed into the individual I am today,’ she said upon the single’s release.
‘I have been through so many experiences like every girl, and I wanted to take a stand and speak up on behalf of all females who have felt hurt from relationships.”
As the video clip progresses, audiences witness the increasingly apparent conflict between the pair, as they stop speaking during dates.
The blonde beauty continues to show off her sizzling figure in a line up of sultry outfits including a black leather bralette paired with a fitted leopard print skirt and a red hot frock teamed with matching statement lipstick.
Look at me now! Joelle captures the attention of the same guy a few months later as she sizzles with a new hot look
Sweet revenge: Joelle shows she has well and truly moved on from her past with a bold hand gesture
By the end of the clip, the singer certainly confirmed that she has no regrets about her past, fearlessly rejecting her torn lover with a bold move.
As the clip fast forwards to Joelle’s life a few months later, the artist rocks a white mesh fitted frock complemented with bold diva curls and effortlessly smiles at the same dark haired stud.
As he approaches her, clearly blown away by her stunning new look, Joelle enjoys sweet revenge, by making a ‘rude finger’ gesture to her ex-lover and then strutting off with her girls.
Taking a stand: Joelle said this song is dedicated to all women who have struggled in past relationships
Joelle’s video clips seems to have been well received by her dedicated fan base.
The song has reached the top 25 in Australia’s iTunes charts and soared to 14,000 Youtube views in less than a day.
Having been coached by LMFAO’s Redfoo on The X Factor last year, Joelle says she is keen to collaborate with the popular artist.
Joelle first entered X-Factor back in 2012, when she entered as part of a duo after Kristina Adesuwa tracked her down on YouTube.
Raw emotion: The singer drew on personal experiences when singing her debut track
They called themselves called Good Question, but were eliminated quite early in the competition.
She returned in 2013 as a solo artist, and made it through to the fifth round of live performances with Redfoo as her mentor.
The Sydney girl has described her musical sound as a mix of soul, pop and R’n'B.
She originally tried to kickstart her career in LA when she was 19 and was signed to a small independent label, but it fell through.
Real life heartbreak: Joelle and Rabbitohs player Sam Burgess split in December after dating for a few months
