RUSTON, Wash. — A woman previously cited for DUI has been photographed driving drunk with her child in the backseat, police say, and they’re asking for the public’s help in locating her.
Jordin Margraves, 23, was cited for DUI on Sept. 22 when she failed field sobriety tests and refused to do a breathalyzer test, Pierce County Sheriff’s officials said. As a result, she was required to drive with an ignition interlock device, which required her to blow into the machine and prove she was sober before the vehicle would start.
Photos released by Thurston County Sheriff’s Office show Jordin Margraves (left) and an unidentified male (right) being sought by investigators.
However, photos since recovered from her interlock device show that Margraves drove her car multiple times while drunk, including one time registering a BAC of 0.188 while driving — more than double the legal limit, investigators said. Another photo shows an unidentified man blowing into the ignition device to start the vehicle for Margraves, police said. Both photos show a young child in the backseat.
Margraves is 5 feet 6 inches tall with dark brown hair and brown eyes. She is believed to be driving a white 2005 Toyota Corolla with Oregon license plates and there is a warrant out for her arrest.
