Lingerie Football League unveils Regina Rage ahead of first home game

Their uniforms are far different from most football players, but the women of the Lingerie Football League’s Regina Rage team say they play a real game.
The first home game for the Regina Rage goes this Saturday. The team was introduced at a media event Thursday morning.
The Queen City’s newest team has stirred up quite the controversy because it is women playing football in their underwear. The players are decked out in green and white frilly uniforms with a garter belt included.
No doubt the team wants see a capacity crowd at the Brandt Centre, and there is little doubt they might come close.
Running back Kylie Rossler isn’t bothered about what the naysayers may think.
“You know everyone is going to have their opinions about it like everyone else, at the end of the day if you don’t like it, don’t come and watch,” she said.
She hopes the team sends the message that women can be powerful and they are playing real football with everything that entails.
