If you’re going to
take advice from someone about how to look sexy in your underwear there are
probably only two people you can really trust.
And that’s Bridget
Jones and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley
- for different reasons, obviously.
But while one remains
the on-screen reflection of 21st century women, the other has shared
her underwear tips as she prepares to release a collection with Autograph at
MS.
Sure, Rosie is a size
eight and widely considered to be the sexiest woman alive but she
knows so much about bra and pants that the she’s sharing her expertise by
designing her own collection.
It’s like the
supermodel equivalent of a bunch of teenagers getting rude puns on their name
printed on their holiday t-shirts before getting too drunk on some Spanish
island.
And to celebrate her
new collection, Rosie offered these well-meaning tips on looking good in
lingerie (move over, Gok Wan. Nobody cares about being naked anymore).
Speaking to the Sunday Times Style magazine Rosie said: ‘The most important
thing is that I wasn’t designing for myself – that’s boring. It’s important
that the underwear translates for all women, all ages, all sizes.’
Her tips on choosing and wearing lingerie include ‘think about colour’, ‘get
fitted’ and ‘mix it up’.

When it was announced that the 25-year-old would work with MS on the
designs, she said: ‘’I love everything about lingerie, I’ve always had a thing
for it.
“It is completely feminine, it’s something for women, it’s ours and it’s a
little secret.”
Well, it’s a secret until someone tells everyone and shows pictures wearing
the secret undies rolling around on a silk bed, eh?
The collection launches on 30 August and it’s unclear how it will be
received it will be by the average British woman and her undercrackers.
Rosie recently said that ‘people forget you’re human and you just become an object’
when working in the industry. What do you reckon?
